Biden No Longer Pro Online Casino?

In a turn of events that no one saw coming, Hunter Biden has decided not to assist the online casino community. Just yesterday, Online Casino Advisory was singing Biden’s praises and today they have reversed that praise.

It seems that Biden had agreed to represent PartyGaming owner Russ DeLeon in his fight to see online casino gambling legalized. The online casino community found this to be an amazing turn of events and sang his praises from the rooftops.

However, what they didn’t know was that last week Biden withdrew his support from the lobbying business. He notified the House and the Senate that he would not be a registered federal lobbyist, which means that he was no longer in the fight to make online casinos legal.

He wrote the letter two days after his father, Joe Biden, was named as the VP candidate by Senator Barack Obama. Allegedly he felt it was a violation of principle, but those in the online casino community are wondering where that violation was when he agreed to do it in the first place.

Some think that it was simply a case of him not wanting to bring any attention to his dealings while his father is being considered as VP. Others feel that he should have withdrawn as a conflict of interest.
