BetFair.com Wins in Court

BetFair.com's holding company, Sporting Exchange, wins case against former head of it's Irish operations, Raymond Farrell, and was awarded $127,994. The court issue seems to revolve around certain monies owed to the company, which Farrell was in charge of collecting in behalf of the company.

Farrell is contesting the allegations and will most likely appeal. In the years 2002 through 2004, Raymond Farrell worked for BetFair.com and was to increase the company's dealings in the online gambling industry. He made a statement that he increased the overall revenue from $828,000 a month to nearly $7 million per month at the time of his departure.
