Online Casino News: Responsible Gaming is Just as Important as Winning

Many would argue that the online casino industry has just as much responsibility to keeping their players from becoming addicted as anyone. As they are the ones providing the service many people think that they should be responsible for providing the cure. What they don't know is that many online casinos donate money to various gambling organizations that teach awareness and how not to become addicted.
Responsible Gambling Awareness Day is run by the Remote Gambling Association and they are distributing a video showing how the online casino industry tries hard to protect their patrons. It shows what the public probably doesn't know in that they have many forms of technology that are being used to ward against developing an online casino gambling addiction.
The online casino group has also made a donation for more than $16,000 to Gambling Therapy, the first international online health service for those who have developed an addiction to online casino gambling. They are hoping that this video may show those who might be developing an online casino addiction and that there is help out there. It also shows those that think that the online casino industry doesn't care that not only is that not true but that they are also working very hard to help those people who need it.
They believe that by putting this out front that they may end up showing people the dangerous path they are going down and thus reducing the need for this kind of assistance. They also hope to assuage the fears of those who think that everyone who plays will become addicted.
