Online Casino News: Macau Still
Growing

The country of China has made it very
clear that they do not want online
casinos functioning within their
country. They have recently passed
legislation that would make all online
casino dealing illegal, but someone is
not listening. In fact the region of
Macau continues to expand at a rapid
rate.
It seems that every time China tries to
pass another law on the region by making
online casino gambling illegal, Macau
gets bigger. MGM Mirage has just entered
into a partnership with one of the
largest online casino operators on the
globe, Pansy Ho. What is interesting
about this is that this company has
saved the MGM Mirage from bankruptcy
with this move. The new expansion that
the casino is going to have two make in
Macau is going to reduce the casino's
debt by more than $2 billion.
The casino currently has numerous
investments across the country, and
across the world, so it would behoove
them to ensure that they are successful.
Some of them feel that the casino
company has spread themselves too thin,
and in light of the fact that they are
also considering online casino gambling
it might be a better idea for them to
rein in their expansion just a tad.
But they are not alone as there are
numerous casinos within the industry
that have come to the conclusion that
Macau is the place to be right now.
Those companies that are looking to
bring in online casino gambling are also
looking at places like Macau to put a
land-based casino as well. It is no
secret that it is growing at a rapid
rate and everyone really just wants to
get their piece of pie for all the
slices of eating.
