Online Casino Going Under

The online casino Lasseters has been running for about nine years now, but it looks like it may not live to see ten. The online casino has been in suspension with their shares for about a month now, and it doesn’t look as though it is going to get any better.

The online casino had asked for a capital injection from their parent company, Lasseters International, but it seems it was denied. The online casino had a $15.5 million loss last year, which could be tough to come back from.

The auditors of the online casino said that they weren’t sure that it could continue on based on the books. The parent company has not publicly commented on whether or not they will be giving the online casino any money, but they did say that Lasseters Corporation would not be taking any more bets on their online casino sites Lasseters Online, AusVegas and Lasseters Euro.

The company says that the passing of the UIGEA was hurtful to the online casino, and that it has been tough to fight their way back from that. The board of the parent company says that they don’t see it being able to ever. Lasseters SportsBook will continue to operate.
