Lotteries and Online Casinos Recession Proof?

For every report that you hear about the recession hurting the online casino industry, there is another one that says that they are still thriving. The recession has seemingly grown into every niche of our country, except the online casino industry.

This year, Missouri lottery tickets brought in 6.5% more revenue than they had the previous year – almost a billion dollars. It seems that lottery officials are reporting that they are showing an increase in lottery sales across the country, with no sign of it slowing down.

There are also a new group of studies that show across the world the online casino industry has continued to grow. With online casinos not being a part of other industries, as they continue to fail in other areas – the online casino industry is seemingly recession proof.

The latest report says that it would seem that the online casinos can remain such because of the fact that they are more diversified than other industries are. They are not simply keeping all of their eggs in one basket which leaves them with less chance of them breaking.
