Recession Hitting Online
Casinos
With so many banks hitting the
skids these days, it is no
wonder that people are starting
to get concerned about the money
they have in their online casino
accounts as well. Many people
have decided to start pulling
their money out of their online
casino accounts, which has lead
to a scramble from the casinos
to cover it.
The financial crisis has caused
people to think that they need
to have their money right away,
but the online casinos are not
prepared to pay it out right
away. Some are undoubtedly going
to go under from the rush, and
others are close to it.
Those online casinos that have
already been having problems or
were already on the brink of
having to close up shop are
simply telling their customers
that they cannot withdraw their
funds right now. They simply do
not have the money to cover all
of the withdrawals.
Others are telling their clients
that they can request their
online casino funds, but that it
will take 60-90 days to process
the payment. They are told that
they will receive a check in the
mail.
The US is not the only country
facing this economic crisis. The
European Union and Asia are
facing similar problems – with
their online casino customers
reacting the same way. Everyone
wants to know that their money
is safe, and unless it is in an
FDIC insured bank, it probably
isn’t.
