Online Casino Advisory Boycott

The governor of Kentucky has done something pretty stupid really – they have put themselves in the middle of the online casino fight, a place where no one wants to be. Governor Steve Beshear is trying to keep a monopoly in the state of gambling, and in doing so has undoubtedly made it even harder for them to keep what money they have been making.

The governor is trying to seize the domain names of 141 online casino sites, and the case has gone to court. He claims that the online casino names should be theirs because they are breaking the law by encouraging people to play them, and the online casino industry is preying on those who don’t know any better. He says that it will add to addiction.

However, these statements might have made more sense coming from someone who didn’t push for gambling in their own state. Instead, the governor is trying to keep the online casino industry from interfering in the amount of money that they bring in.

Well, Online Casino Advisory isn’t putting up with this for a single second. They have called for a boycott on all gambling in Kentucky until the issue with the online casino industry is resolved. They are calling for "...a boycott by all gamblers, civil libertarians, and concerned protectors of the Internet of all products of Kentucky, or anything that produces Kentucky tax revenue. Until Beshear lifts his fascist order, every effort must be made to hurt the state's coffers."

Not all online casino sites are following the letter of the law, but they are following parts of it, and letting the boycott be known.
