Betfair Announces 2,000,000th Customer

Not only that, but they just celebrated their one millionth customer less than twenty months ago. The two millionth customer is a 59 year old man from Sweden, who ironically enough had placed a bet on Mr. Anti-Online Casino gambling himself – John McCain – to win the election. We are sure that he would be pleased to know that he was responsible for the company’s milestone.

However, with that aside, the Swede, in becoming customer number two million, has won himself a VIP weekend for himself and a guest. He says that his brother showed him the online casino and he liked what he saw. He says that he could pick his own odds and choose from a variety of games to play – and that it was a lot more fun than “betting on the stock market at the moment.”

The online casino says that they process about five million transactions a day – with 99.9% successfully completed in less than a second. They will be getting their second Queen’s Award for Enterprise at the end of the month.
