Online Casino News: Sudden Push
for Online Casino Ban

It could be that with the recent push
from so many sources towards legalizing
online casino gambling that the
anti-online casino representatives are
starting to feel that they have to push
back. However, taking on the online
gambling industry right now might not be
in their best interest. With the
majority of Americans wanting to see
online gambling legalized, it might be
time to go with the flow.
However United States Sen. John Kyl and
Rep. Spencer Bachus are now fighting
against a possible delay in the
implementation of the Unlawful Internet
Gambling Enforcement act or UIGEA. They
have stepped forward and asked the
United States treasury to a door a
recent request by 17 of their fellow
congressmen to delay the implementation
of the online casino ban. With the
UIGEA's regulations due to be
implemented as of December 1st lawmakers
have been working hard to come to some
sort of an agreement.
The banks and financial institutions are
backing those who are trying to delay
the implementations for the online
casino payment processing because they
realize that the rules that have been
set forth are not necessarily the best
that they could be. In fact, they say
that there is much confusion when it
comes to the regulations, and they ask
that's the online casino and
implementation be postponed for a year.
The congressmen are trying to make it
seem that these 17 members that are
trying to block the online casino ban
are a small number amidst a large number
that are in support of it. However, they
failed to make note that they are the
only two who have stepped forward to try
and stop the postponement. They also do
not mention that they are being backed
by the National Football League and the
Christian Coalition; instead they say
that a postponement would only serve the
online casino gambling industry.
