Online Casino Report

The biggest problem with the Unlawful
Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, or
UIGEA, is that it made it so difficult
to get your money in and out of your
online casino account. The payment
processing was what the UIGEA actually
made illegal, not the playing itself.
This is why the government has been
seizing the bank accounts of online
casino patrons.
This means that those that want to
participate in online casino gambling
have to find another way around the ban
so that they can make their deposit and
give themselves the ability to play.
Then once they have won money – they
have to find a way to get their money
back out again. Most banks and credit
cards are working hard to keep their
patrons from using their cards for
online casino deposits and withdrawals.
There were reports that American Express
was opening itself up to accepting
online casino payments, but it would
appear that this is not what is
happening at all. A few months ago there
was a report that they were going to
allow payment processing through their
companies for residents of the United
States, but this turned out to be
nothing more than a rumor.
Rome Casino had released a statement
saying that players could now use their
American Express cards to deposit and
withdraw funds out of the online casino
– but the card has been quick to refute
this claim. The company has contacted
the online casino and has let them know
that not only is this not true, but that
they want their logo removed from their
site. They state that their credit card
cannot be used at online casinos, nor
can it be used at land based casinos.
