Security Number One Concern
When you go on an online casino one of
the first things that most people are
worried about is their security. They
want to know that they are safe entering
their personal information into a site
that quite frankly they don’t know the
people at the other end of. It is
important for them to know that while
they are participating in online casino
gambling that someone else isn’t busy
taking care of cleaning them out and
using their info for some other sinister
reason.
A recent study by VeriSign says that if
you are one of those people who are
worried about security that you are not
alone. In fact, eighty five percent of
all players at online casinos say that
it is their number one concern and the
biggest way that they choose the online
casino that they will play at. They say
that having good games and great
customer service are important too, but
security is the most important.
Sixty two percent of those surveyed said
that they look for the locked icon on
the site address bar before entering
their personal information to the online
casino. Fifty five percent said that
they wanted to see an independent seal
or logo on the online casino site
somewhere that let them know that the
site was secure.
There are many online casinos that say
that they are secure, but don’t offer
either of those simple things that would
make their players feel more secure in
their dealings with them. Most of those
surveyed said that if they did not see
something like that on the online casino
they would leave and not give any
information to the site at all. |
