What’s Next for Online Casino
Industry?
The online casino industry has a pretty
good time of it from September through
May as far as things to offer for online
casino promotions. There are plenty of
things that the online casinos can
embrace –starting with Labor Day, then
to Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas,
after Christmas promos to make people
spend even more, Valentine’s Day,
Easter, the list literally goes on and
on.
But once summer rolls around, and we
pass Memorial Day, the online casinos
are kind of stuck trying to figure out
what they need to do in order to get
their customers to come in. They don’t
have a holiday that they can plan their
rewards around, so the online casinos
start simply doing summer themed
promotions, but that is not as much fun
as the others are.
You will see some online casino sites
offering baseball as their hook, but
they are really more focused in the
sports betting sites – and the others
sort of fall through the cracks. The
online casinos say that summer is always
kind of a dry time for them as more
people are on vacation or otherwise
entertained. During the winter they have
more people at home and therefore more
time spent in front of the online casino
sites.
The online casino industry says that it
is a notorious time for them to lose
money, or at least not be where they are
normally at. The land based casinos on
the other hand see an increase in their
revenue as more people are going on
vacation now that the kids are out of
school. Some of these families choose a
destination that involves gambling of
some sort, so they get their money then.
But once school starts up again, the
ball is really in the online casino’s
court again.
