Online Casino Security Questioned

Because of the fact that the Kahnawake group has been under fire recently due to their second security breach, many are wondering how well their security actually is. They wonder if it is that easy to break into the online casinos, couldn’t anyone do it at anytime?

However, what many people don’t realize is that there are other mitigating factors at work here. Both times the break-ins occurred by people who used to work for the online casinos that were broken into.

It isn’t as if someone from the outside just decided to break in and make changes to the online casinos’ software – these are people who had prior knowledge of passwords and were able to go back into the systems. The Kahnawake are confident that there will not be any more problems as all of their other online casinos are safe.

However, others are not as inclined to let it go. They say that the tribe should not be able to police themselves any longer as it is clearly a case where they are unable to do so. They say that security is obviously lax, and an outside influence should be brought in to handle their online casino security.
