Dark Cloud Passes Over Casinos

A longtime supporter and originator of the online casino industry has passed away. Warren Cloud, also known as Oliver Curran, has died from an apparent heart attack.

Cloud was vacationing near the island of Ibiza when it happened, and was on his boat in Spain when he had the attack. His wife and child survive him. He was confirmed dead Saturday evening.

Cloud was a pioneer in the online casino industry, with his business being valued at £140,000,000. He had online casinos and real time gaming casinos as well – and was hugely successful in his endeavors.

He owned properties such as America Online, Crystal Palace and the Lucky Coin online casino. His reputation was not spotless, and he had a rep for locking customer accounts and withholding bonuses – but overall he was respected.

Those in the industry realize what it was that Cloud did for them – for it is most likely had he not done what he did, there would be no online casino industry today. He will be missed.
