LV Sands Earnings Call

The Las Vegas Sands Corp. has announced that they are going to be holding a conference call to discuss their financial results. They have just completed their quarter ended June 30th, 2008 and will hold the call on Wednesday, July 30th.

The call is open to the general public and anyone interested in hearing the state of their financials simply need to log into their webcast at 4:30 pm EST at the Las Vegas Sands website. They will have a taped version available for download afterwards for those that are unable to listen in on the live version.

With such large corporations under their belt – such as The Congress Center, The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, The Sands Expo Center and the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino – they have much to discuss. They also own the Sands Macao and the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, both of which are located on Macau, China and those are expected to be discussed as well.

The Sands is one of the largest casino operators in the world and has many ties to the fight to make online casinos legal – something they ave gotten a lot of criticism for. They have a market capitalization of more than $15 billion, so one can assume it won’t be a short call.
