Online Casino News:
British
Columbia Makes Big Move on Limits

British Columbia is known for their very
clear cut regulations when it comes to
online casino gambling. They check out
every online casino and make sure that
it is safe to play at, and that the
people who are running it are on the up
and up. They also take great pains to
ensure that those people who are
participating in online casino gambling
are not getting themselves into trouble
at the same time.
They have long had the weekly online
casino gambling max set at $120 per week
– so that they did not have to worry
about people spending all of their money
when in the throes of a gambling streak.
Now, this is not to say that people
weren’t exceeding that amount because
they were. But if you wanted to exceed
the limit you had to go to offshore
online casinos as you could not do it
legally within the country, and these
sites were not regulated.
But the BC recently raised their online
casino limit – to such a great amount
that many are wondering what they were
thinking. They have just raised the
online casino gambling limit to $9,999.
Needless to say this is a substantial
amount over what they were allowing
before and people want to know why they
would do such a thing. They say that for
those people that have a problem,
allowing them to spend that much money
is atrocious and that they could get
themselves into a lot of trouble.
But the BC says that they know that
those people who are having a problem
are going to go offshore. They would
rather that they stayed within the
country and within the safety of their
legislation if they are going to gamble
at an online casino at all.
