No Big Money for US Players

There is tons of money being won on the online casinos that are out there by seemingly everyone other than United States’ residents. Because of the passage of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, or UIGEA, the majority of US residents have been missing out on ample opportunities to win some big money at the online casinos. Needless to say, many would be online casino customers are less than happy about that.

They cans see the various reports that show the millions being won by their counterparts overseas, and they want their piece of the pie. For many it does not seem fair that they are unable to play at the online casinos when they are more than willing to do so. They feel that they should have control over their own money and be able to spend it however they want – but of course, this is the heart of the matter for the UIGEA.

With Barack Obama taking over the Presidency in 2009 it still doesn’t mean that there will be legalized online casino gambling, but there is more of a chance that it will come to play. This means that there will be a change that US residents could now be eligible for some of those large online casino jackpots as well. This is really what they are hoping for, as it seems every one is winning except for them.

If the UIGEA is overturned, or at least regulations are put in place, then US players will now be able to access the online casino industry without fear of retribution by the government. This also goes both ways as the online casino industry will be more willing to work with US players and offer them the same promotions that they offer other countries.
