Online Casino News:
Who Owns
“Who Dat?”

Many feel that the National Football
League has gone too far this time. With
the New Orleans Saints finally ready to
go to a Super Bowl, the NFL is looking
to stick their nose in where it really
does not belong. Long time fans of the
football team were sickened to find out
that the NFL is trying to stop people
from purchasing materials that they say
belong to them.
The fact of the matter is that the idea
of “Who Dat?” is not owned by the NFL –
rather if anyone is going to lay claim
to it it would be St. Augustine High
School. The private, Catholic High
School has a powerful football team and
marching band and they started the cry
as a “Who dat gonna best dem Saints?
Nobody!” and then they would follow it
with a “Cha-ching!” This got picked up
by Saints’ fans in the 80’s and they
would cheer it from the stands. They
used it for the next 25 years and the
team went pretty much nowhere.
But then next thing you know the Saints
were going to the Super Bowl and vendors
all across America started selling
shirts and memorabilia that said “Who
Dat?” The NFL has now stepped in and is
trying to stop all sales as they say
that it is not NFL sanctioned
merchandise.
The online casino industry says that
this is just what they have been talking
about. They say that the NFL has long
blocked their rights to be legal, even
though it doesn’t have anything to do
with them. They say that the Saints’
fans are getting a taste of what the
online casino industry has been putting
up with for years. They say that they
weren’t right to ban online casino
gambling, and they aren’t right to try
and stop people from selling the
merchandise.
