The online casino group Party Gaming has
just released their Fourth Quarter sales
figures and they say that they could not
be more thrilled. Their sales have
jumped 32% which is practically unheard
of in this economy. They say that this
is just more proof that the online
casino industry is economy proof –
although perhaps not completely.
They said that they saw their sales rise
to $132.2 million, and part of that is
due to acquisitions that they were able
to make. They said that so far this year
they seem to be doing equally as well,
and they hope that if this is the kind
of year that the online casino had last
year that they will be able to exceed it
this year.
They think that part of the reason that
the online casino has done so well is
because of their purchase of the bingo
and online casino operator – Cashcade
Ltd, and the World Poker Tour. Both of
these purchases not only raised
awareness of the online casino brand,
but they solidified their position. It
is obvious that if they are able to
purchase other large online casino
brands that they are doing well. It gave
their shareholders confidence in their
abilities to perform.
Outside of these purchases however, they
saw their sales rise 12% based on their
numbers from the previous year. They
said that their online casino games
performed better than expected and that
they had a lot of “favorable” sports
results which lead to their ability to
bring in more revenue.
