Online Casino News:  Did eCOGRA Fail Their Affiliates?

The whole idea behind eCOGRA is that they will take care of their affiliates. If an online casino offers an affiliate program, and they get certified by eCOGRA then they are considered to be the best of the best out there. Supposedly they are safe to use and they are certified and recommended. That is how the online casino affiliates know which programs they might want to go with, as opposed to one that does not have the certification.
 
But when the Grand Prive Bella Vegas Online Casino closed their doors to their affiliates, many were left wondering what happened. They simply said that it was not cost effective for them anymore, and so they shut down their online casino affiliate program. However, they kept the business that the online casino affiliates had brought to them. So the affiliates did what they thought they should, and they turned to eCOGRA to help them get back some of their money. But it appears that this is not to be the case.
 
Instead, eCOGRA did an investigation into the online casino and they found that they had incurred too many expenses to keep it going. They said that the online casino was having system problems with the software that they were using and the expenses that it took to keep fixing it became too much. So they had to close down that area of their online casino and concentrate on recovery for the other parts of the online casino company.
 
The online casino affiliates are upset because they feel that they have been ripped of and that the one group that was supposed to support them instead supported the online casino in question. Unless this changes and they start to see more focus on the affiliates, eCOGRA might find that their certification doesn’t mean much.
