Online Casino News:
Bank Closures Lead to More Online Casino Gambling
by Joanne R Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 8:44 PM
It is a weird twist on our economy – one that many had not seen coming. The worse that the banks do – the better the online casinos do. Does that make sense to you? However, a lot of it has to do with the bailouts that have been going on. The online casino industry is determined to make the best of a bad situation, but the situation just got a little better for them.
The US economy is still trying to fight its way back, and there have been many problems with the banking industry. So far this year, the US has seen 15 bank closures across 10 states. But what is weird is that the online casino industry has seen a spike in the number of online casino customers from those states that have seen their banks go under.
The more the banks close, the more players are flocking to the online casinos. It would seem that as their money is frozen in their banks they cannot walk into a casino in those states, but they can hit an online casino instead. This way they can use credit to play at the online casinos instead of needing cash.
Lucky Blackjack says that they have seen this trend growing and if the bank closures continue the way they have been they expect that the online casino industry will continue to profit from it. They say that this spike is only going to continue growing as each month more banks are forced to close their doors. They know that eventually they will get their money back from the banks, but in the interim it is nice to know that they can still enjoy themselves at the online casinos.
