February 15, 2009 Online Casino News:
Online Casinos Taking Bets on Change
As everyone knows, the online casino
industry loves to take bets on just
about anything, with nothing seemingly
off limits. Now however, they have a new
bet that they are hoping many people win
– and that is the legalization of online
casino gambling.
The online casino William Hill is taking
bets as to whether or not online casino
gambling will be legalized within the
current Obama administration. They are a
United Kingdom based bookmaking firm,
and they are taking even bets to show
that they are completely neutral in the
fight.
They are obviously hopeful that online
casino gambling will be legalized for if
it is they stand to make much more
money. Any online casino that pulled out
of the US market when it was made
illegal would be able to come back in
and get their share of American pie. The
US online casino market is a million
dollar industry, and companies would
love to see it accessible again.
Many think that the economic situation
alone will cause the online casino
gambling industry to become legalized
again for they know that the money that
is currently going overseas could stay
in house instead. They know that the
money that they are hemorrhaging as a
country to other countries could be
stopped. With this administration
seemingly much more pro-online casino
gambling than the last one was, it could
happen.
They do stress however that online
casino gambling is only fun if everyone
is protected. Making online casino
gambling legal is a great idea money
wise, but not so great if it doesn’t
have the proper checks and balances.
