Online Casino News: First WSOP Seat Awarded

Bodog.com always prides themselves on the fact that they are one of the first ones to do almost anything in the online casino industry. They are easily a trendsetter in many aspects of the industry and they always seem like they are having a lot more fun than the rest of the world. With this clique sort of mentality, it is no wonder that so many people want to play at their online casino.
Keeping that in mind, it obviously has paid off for one of their members – as they have given away one of the first seats to one of their online casino players for next year’s World Series of Poker. The WSOP is always the hottest ticket around, it is no wonder that players would flock to anyone who might be offering a ticket to it. Once you get there you are on your own, but getting there is more than half the battle.
The online casino held thirteen Mini Poker Series events to weed out the players until it came down to the Semi Final Tournament and leader boards. The top ten of the leader board got a seat at the final event as did the winners of the Semi Finals. This then brought it down to 82 players and out of them it was down to one winner and that was John “Getn_Outa_MI” Ormsby.
Ormsby is thrilled to be going to the big show – he says that he has never played in the WSOP before and that he is so lucky that the online casino gave him the way to get there. He says that he doesn’t think he will be a professional poker player but that it will be a hobby for him.
