Enforcing New Online Casino Rules

Estonia has changed their online
casino rules so that they are more
European Union compliant. Their online
casino rules are much more strict than
many other countries, but for a county
that did not want to allow foreign
nations in it is a big step. Their rules
will now allow them to operate in the
country by several different means.
The online casino industry has been
drastically opened up by Estonia – they
will allow for other countries to offer
online casino gambling within the
country with a license. Any country
interested in offering online casino
gambling will simply need to apply for a
permit from the country.
For those that find that applying for a
permit within Estonia for an online
casino license is not cost effective or
may not be economical, they will be able
to subcontract. They will need to work
through a licensed state operator and
permitted foreign online casinos to
offer their services in the country.
The Estonia Gambling Act recognizes
other foreign nations in their online
casino gambling industry and as of the
first of the year they will be
implemented. Depending on the type of
online casino gaming that the businesses
offer will determine what kind of
license they will need to apply for.
They must also have age checking
software and the ability to help those
that are demonstrating a problem with
online casino gambling. Their servers
have to be on their land and regulators
and independent auditors must have
access to them at all times.
