April 7, 2009 Online Casino News:
Depressing News for US
Players
The online casino industry has long been
fighting to be legalized and to have the
Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement
Act or UIGEA overturned. There are many
in the government that also feels that
the online casino industry should be
legal and they are working hard to see
if they can make that ideal a reality.
However, in the meantime, the online
casino players want to point out that
there is a lot of money being lost by
those players that don’t have access to
online gambling.
To make matters worse, those online
casinos that they do have access to seem
to not pay as well as the other sites
that they don’t have access to. In the
international online casino industry
there were hundreds of thousands won by
many different players over this past
weekend, and they were all able to have
a chance at winning it.
However, for those players that are
playing at strictly those regulated
online casinos that allow US players to
enjoy themselves, there was not a single
win for the entire weekend. Needless to
say, USA online casino gamblers are less
than pleased with the odds. They say
that you would have to go back almost a
full week to find a slot machine jackpot
that had been hit by a US player at an
online casino.
Experts say that it could be due to the
fact that they were coming to the end of
March Madness at a lot of online
casinos, which makes it difficult to
judge because there were many online
tournaments that were coming to a close
on Monday or Tuesday. They say that this
could have something to do with the fact
that there were not more winners.
