The final leg of the 2010 World Series of Poker, WSOP is upon us. November is a big month for poker gamers. Remember that if you love poker, the WSOP is one of the premiere events that you should at minimum watch. It is easy enough since it is broadcast live on ESPN and on ESPN2. You are not going to have a problem with finding ways to view the event. Plus poker is one of the top gambling events in the market right now. The best thing about the game is that it is the perfect combination of luck and strategy. You aren’t going to have a lot of issues with keeping interested. The strategies to the games are what bring people back time and again. If you watch any professional player you are going to see how they are able to strategize in any gambling situation and make the most of their game. Even if they aren’t winners, they are still going to take away some experience and then apply that to their next gambling session. One of the biggest issues they have is that they need to keep on growing that strategy. The easiest way to do this is to keep on pushing into different tournaments and games against various gamers. This calls for a good focus on what to do and what moves are the most advantageous in regards to countering an opponent.
The final of the WSOP began just over a week ago and has now crowned Jonathan Duhamel as the main event champion. He ended up walking away with just over $8.9 million in a payout. That is a huge number and it is indicative of how far gambling and poker has come over the past decade. Now the payouts are in the multi-millions easily and they are showing no signs of slowing down as the market continues to expand and change. If you love poker gambling, now is the perfect time to plug into the WSOP ending tables and see how things panned out. The market of gambling is one that you aren’t easily going to get bored with, so enjoy it.

If you are a fan of poker, then now is a great time to get in on the fun. The game itself is a game of strategy, so expect to spend some time learning about how to play and what to do to better your chances of a win. If you want some resources, you are not going to have any problems finding them with the overwhelming growth of the market these days. One website that is going to help you is the WSOP Academy. You can find the website at WSOPAcademy.com on the web. It is a great website if you are new to the game and need some initial rules, or if you are an avid player and want some tips from the pros. Poker professionals like Joe Navarro lead you through some scenarios and let you know what the best moves are in certain situations. One of the biggest advantages of the website is that if you are a poker gambler you can easily get certified—not just get the experience of gambling. It is a great way to extend your own gaming technique and keep up with the market in terms of winning. This is a great training ground for any poker player who wants to see what the pros know so well.
This is the closest thing to a “real” learning center for gambling online. To earn your own WSOP Academy Certification, you have to go through a pretty rigorous and grueling gaming series. They cover various chapters of wagering and poker training courses. Some of the things you are going to cover are the art of betting, poker calculations, post-flop betting strategies, how to bluff, cash game strategy, hand selection and the basics of wagering for beginners. Overall it is a great place to start if you are trying to hone your own skill as a gamer. In the past you could be certified via this course, but only if you went to one of their physical locations. Now it is different—you can log in online and get the same teaching, courses and certification you would get if you were at the actual location for wagering. This is a great tool for poker players and if you want to learn more about the game, consider joining. The pros here know how to play and they know how to teach.

There are a lot of positive changes in the poker market. They can all be attributed to the fact that the game is growing in popularity. With more and more gamers wanting in on big poker tournaments, it is making developers push technology hard to keep up. It is the old law of supply and demand. As long as there is a market wanting the best games, there are going to be developers more than willing to provide. They know that the market is growing exponentially right now and if they don’t keep up, other companies will. Now the WSOP, or World Series of Poker, is getting more and more attention. The WSOP of course is one of the biggest, if not the biggest event in poker gaming. It is a tournament that pays out multi-millions of dollars in jackpots to the various table winners. There are thousands who vie for a spot at the tables via satellite tournaments all over the world. The tournaments are broadcast live via ESPN and ESPN2 to the world too. Overall it is the biggest tournament in the market and people are continuing to value it as a great way to test their own poker skill against other players. Plus, if they win even a small table that can mean a life-changing amount of a jackpot they take home to enjoy.
Now Versus just announced that it is going to do a live broadcast of WSOP circuit tournaments that are going to be beginning June of 2011. The two-hour long telecasts are going to be on Versus and they will feature games from all of the US stops of the circuit. The final showing will be the broadcast of the WSOP Circuit National Championship from Caesar’s Palace. This is where the top 10 players are going to play for a final $1-million prize. Overall this is a sign of how popular poker gaming is becoming in the market. Venus knows full well how lucrative a deal this can be because poker is showing no signs of slowing down either. Expect more and more poker gamblers to enter the market in coming months as the payouts get bigger and the games get more intense.

Just look at the WSOP- no longer does it have small sponsors but it now has big name corporate sponsorship and is being advertised outside of just gambling arenas. The game is also growing in the online market. PokerStars.com is a website that features the games and just noted a record high for gamers. The casino held its most recent promotional “Poker Stars’ 50-Billionth Hand” promotion and research showed that in attendance were over 105,000 people who logged in to wager at the game. This set a new record for the most people playing poker at one time. The casino previously set first record back in February of this year with a total of just over 103,000 players pulling up to the poker tables.
Poker Scout was the company that did the research and noted how popular poker has become despite the difficulties the market has had since the recession. This is a testament to just how resilient the game of poker is and how much fun gamers are having with it. Poker Stars also reported a huge increase in their own revenue as a gaming company in the past month. They believe that now that the recession is over, more and more gamers are going to venture back to online casinos and be happily surprised. While they were recovering financially, gaming companies were revamping their websites to showcase even better gaming options and bonuses. Casinos rallied without customers and decided to put their time and efforts into making gambling an even better experience for the online gambler. It may take time to completely turn things around but poker players are proving that they aren’t afraid of reentering the market.

It is the premiere tournament to get in on if you are a poker lover and thousands of players vie for the position in the games. They know that the payouts are in the millions and the bragging rights of winning a WSOP bracelet is one of the best conversation starters in any gaming arena. Phil Laak, aka the “Unabomber” took the top prize in the initial event. He ended up winning the six-hand no-limit Hold’em event. Next there was John Racener who walked away with a big win too. He ended up at the final table of the WSOP. That is happening in November of this year. He will start at the tables where he ended up now. It was at a pot-limit Omaha tournament. Also in line for wins are Karl Mahrenholz and Willie Tann—both have a great number of chips to get back in on the games with in November. So far the WSOP is shaping up to be what was expected by the market. No one has had the chance to pull back on the games—they have taken off like wildfire in the market over the past few years. Anyone watching poker knows about the WSOP Europe tournament. Overall poker has taken over as the most popular table gambling game in casinos worldwide. The game is great because of its dual characteristics of luck and strategy. For example, slots are purely games of luck- they involve good old randomness and there isn’t anything you can do beyond just “being lucky” to increase your chances of a win. Poker isn’t like that. Sure there is an element of luck to the game—it wouldn’t be a gamble if there wasn’t, but there also is strategy. This is why the game is so popular with so many different gamblers. They know that they can practice and learn the game with time and focus. Millions of gamblers in the market have their eyes set on the game of poker and making a name for themselves in the market.
So far Jeffrey Lisandro is the top poker player at the WSOP Europe event. He has made quite a few good wins at the WSOP already and now he can add WSOP Europe to his repertoire. It took a while for him to come apart from the pack though. The first day of competition was when Lisandro was at the top, but still working hard to fight it out. He ended up taking home the win relatively easily. If that is a sign of how good a player he is, then he can rest assured that his skills are highly developed. The WSOP Europe is a smaller version of the WSOP. Both tournaments are huge draws in the market. They are reaching a new level of main stream appeal too. You can expect to see the WSOP broadcast live via ESPN and ESPN2 throughout its duration. You also will find a long list of mainstream sponsors coming into the mix. This is a sign of how popular the game is and how far it has come in being accepted to regular daily activities. Everywhere people try to get in on the WSOP via satellite tournaments and other ways of getting the buy-in covered. If you love poker, then no doubt you already know how much fun the WSOP is.

If you are a fan of gambling and poker, then no doubt you watched the heated games throughout the WSOP, or World Series of Poker Europe. The main event was held on Tuesday at the Empire casino located in London. The winner of the main event was James Bord—a player who has hones his poker skill for years as an amateur player. The greatest thing about poker play is that it can be learned and taught. Unlike slots that are totally based on luck, poker is a game that players spend years strategizing. If you love having control over the outcome of your gambling, then test out a good poker game. That’s exactly what Bord did to get him into the games in the first place. He quickly found a name for himself in the market by finding big games. He is a frequenter of Las Vegas and normally took home anywhere between $300 to $800 for his efforts at gaming. He is a mainstay of the world of gambling in the Las Vegas area and has worked on his strategy over the years with hundreds of practice games leading up to this one.
Bord is 29-years old and took center stage at the WSOPE. Players and fans lined up to watch his gaming as he put his money down for the big table. He ended up winning a bracelet at the games and walking away with £830,401 in wins for the first place position—that’s about $1.3 million. He ended up walking away with a great win at his first WSOPE tournament. The interesting thing about this last table was that eight of the nine players there were professional poker gamers. Bord was just one more and he fought it out against top-notch gamers for the win. His skill and strategy paid off as he was crowned the ultimate victor of this years WSOPE games. Expect next year’s games to be even more promoted, exciting and bigger. The games are consistently growing and big name poker tournaments are continuing to take on the market with a vengeance. Players know how lucrative they can be and want into the best tournaments out there.

If you look at the market of poker gambling, then you know how much the game has grown throughout the years. The WSOP, or World Series of Poker, began way back in the 70s. It originally was six poker lovers at a small table who wanted to develop the hobby for the market. They came together with small wins among them and opened the casino tournament humbly. Now—about thirty years later, the tournament is a huge win in the market. It has thousands of people vying for a place. The payouts are in the millions. There are numerous satellite tournaments to qualify for a place in the WSOP. The event is actually a wide range of poker games of varying styles that all come to a head with a winner. Of course there is the one big table at the end where gamers win multi-million dollars. Every poker player wants in on the WSOP these days. With the push of corporate sponsorship and ESPN coverage the games are the ones that create a huge buzz in the market annually.
With the growth of poker thanks to the WSOP, there are now a lot of poker tournaments out there. One is the WCOOP, or World Series of Online Poker. This year’s WSOP tournament has ended and the player by the name of “POTTERPOKER” was the big Main Event winner. He walked away with a prize of $2.2 million, which is a new world record for online gaming. The event was a two-day fun filled poker event. And it had over sixty different tournaments throughout. The main event was a $5,200 buy-in poker game for online gamers. There were 2,443 participants in the games and a record prize pool of over $12 million. That is a $1.5 million increase in payouts from last year’s event. The WCOOP made record numbers this year because there were over 141,000 buy-ins in total and eighteen different countries got involved in the event. There are also WCOOP bracelets, just like the WSOP. There sixty-two handed out and they all went to the most deserving poker players in the room. Overall it was a smashing success. Gamers are sure to continue returning next year for the WCOOP fun.

The WSOP is again taking center stage in the news. Of course the WSOP is the World Series of Poker and it just began a few days ago. The games started off in the 70s with just six poker-lovers coming together. Now it has grown to a huge-draw event in the market. There are hundreds of thousands of players who fight it out to win the big payouts of various events along with the WSOP bracelet. The best thing about the game of poker is that if you play, it is equal parts luck and strategy. There is no such thing as a game of poker that is based solely on either one. If you don’t have luck, you can still work your way to a win if you have a great strategy. Other games like roulette and slots gaming are based solely on luck and there isn’t anything you can do to influence the outcome. They are there just for fun. Poker on the other hand offers a great opportunity to work on a skill. Some gamers spend years working their way to great poker strategies and bust them out at top-dollar tournaments like the WSOP.
So far at the WSOP two players have walked away with the much-coveted bracelet. Phil Laak is the first player who walked away with a win. Though Laak is a premier player who has made a name for himself on the poker circuit, he never walked away with a bracelet. Now he picked one up thanks to some awesome play and a little bit of luck. The second player to pick up a bracelet was underdog Chris Bjorin. Bjorin went up against Andrew Pantling to walk away with the win. Though everyone thought that Pantling would be the ultimate winner because of his huge lead over Bjorin, it wasn’t to be. Bjorin managed to turn things around with a dramatic game and in the end came out on top. Overall the WSOP was a huge success this year and now it’s time to get ready for the English Poker Tour that is coming up in a few days’ time.
