Game Variations Unlimited

Wednesday, December 15th, 2010

The best thing that you are going to find in casinos today is how varied the games are. Just scan a good online casino or walk a land based casino, and you are going to see how many different games you can enjoy. You most likely are going to see poker tables, blackjack tables, roulette wheels—not to mention other table games and craps. You should also see a good slots parlor with tens, maybe even hundreds of games to enjoy. You can find games built along as many different themes as you want too. One thing about slots games is that they are highly customizable. You can find games that have varying themes—everything from the jungle to cars and boats to dogs. Regardless of what you want to find, most likely in a good-sized casino you are going to find it. In the online world this is even more possible due to the huge number of games that are offered in the market. If you are looking for a specific style of game, all you have to do is do a simple search for that theme. Most likely whatever you come up with, you are going to find it in the market.

The other great thing you are going to see is how varied wager requirements are. There was a time if you wanted to play a poker tournament, you had to be ready to put down upwards of $100 on the buy-in. Those days are long gone. No longer are games in this exclusive club or kept away from the general gamer. Now you can find games and tournaments that are highly affordable regardless of what type of game you want to play. This is a sign of how the market is opening up to as many people as possible. You won’t have to use every dollar you have to have a great gaming session anymore. You may have to search around or use a satellite tournament to get in on a big-dollar one, but that is common in the market. The point is that there are plenty of ways to have gaming fun on a budget in today’s gambling market.

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

BoylePoker.com is a website that offers a wide range of gaming fun. Not only can you wager on sports at this website, but there is a lottery and casino game to experience too. The world of gaming is pushing online casinos to develop themselves into full service casinos. One of the biggest changes in online gambling is companies that used to focus on just one element of gaming, are opening their doors to all types of wagering. Some casinos started off in the market by building their foundation on one game. They asked their developers to be focused on that one sector of the gaming market and all but ignored other games. For example, All Slots is a company that began with a focus on slots. There are enough of them that the company could have contented itself with just that focus. Rather, they saw the huge opening of the market and the possibilities and decided to expand into more games. Although they still focus on slots, there are other possibilities with the casino too. This is the newest trend in the world of gaming companies—they may have one focus, but they still offer a good selection of other games to test out. It’s like any good land based casino—they know that the key to keeping customers at the casino is offering a wide selection of games. They know that the longer you stay, the more you wager; the more you wager, the more revenue they make.

You also can play at the lotteries available. This is a website that has a long list of lotteries to take advantage of. There also is a casino room that offers the regular games you would expect– slots, Keno, scratch cards, roulette and blackjack. Visit BoylePoker.com and see for yourself how much fun you can have. Learning Pai Gow Poker- Part 2

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

Are you a table game player? Like Poker, but aren’t sure about Pai Gow Poker? Well it is not has hard as it may sound and certainly a lot easier then it was in days long gone. Playing Pai Gow Poker is a fantastic way to enjoy your visit at the casino, as you really need not worry too much about your card playing skills. You can make your experience playing Pai Gow simple as in the game you are allowed to ask the dealer to set you hand for you, or you can expand your horizons and max your experience playing Pai Gow Poker. Here are some easy tips to follow, and before you know it, you may be one of the lucky winners at Pai Gow Poker.

Since Pai Gow Poker tends to be a game that develops rather slowly, it is a game that is ideal for collecting comps. As you know casinos rate players according to how much they wager as well as hold long they sit at a table. With Pai Gow you can be very well sitting at the table for an extended amount of time with a reasonable bank roll which can add up to some nice casino rewards. Playing Pai Gow online is a great way to earn bonuses. A great tip to keep in mind when playing Pai Gow is that you can ask the dealer for help, as it is welcomed. Players should take as much advantage of this as possible. Perhaps you may want to set your own hand while making sure you are setting it in an effective way; after you set the hand you can then ask the dealer to make any corrections if any are needed. This is definitely a perk to a game that you don’t see with many other casino games. There are other advantages to Pai Gow Poker which brings us to another tip. If you happen to have the opportunity to be the band in your Pai Gow game and have the money to bank all of the bets, do it. Being the banker drastically lowers the house edge against you. The most important tip, before you sit down to play and bet your bank roll, learn how to play, even though it is not as complicated as it once was, it is neither as easy as sitting at a slot machine and pushing a button.

Slot Machines Offer Random Gaming- Part 1

Friday, June 11th, 2010

Did you know that the average slot machine can give you thousands of different combinations? Possibly even millions? The only other elements of gaming that come more frequently than slot machines are the enormous variety of outcomes you can possibly get on the reels. Have you ever been in a land-based casino and heard people talking about “hot” and “cold” machines? Or cash versus cards? Or playing machines for long period of time rather than jumping from machine to machine? For years now gamblers from all over the world have been deciding on the rules that work for slots play. Though they are all debatable and have their own followers, no one really can hone in on how slot machines work or what increases their probabilities of paying out.

Inside every slot machine is an RNG, or random number generator. This mechanism comes up with the varying options you get when you spin the machine or click on the virtual reels. This RNG is what dictates everything- your wins and your losses. It comes up with the huge selection of options you may have during your gaming session. When a player pushes the spin button or pulls the slot handle, whatever numbers the RNG chooses at that exact moment, the corresponding reel selection is what the player will see on the reels. Interesting fact is that the wheels that spin round and round in a slot machine are just for show. That’s where operators and developers look to replicate the actual physical slot machine to give you that casino “feel.”

When one person is on one slot machine and then walks away while another player than scoops into the seat where the other player was and wins, does not mean it would have been the first players win had the first player stayed and spun or pulled the handle one more time. The jackpot comes about when the RNG picks combinations that match up to the programmed jackpot numbers. For example, if you get a line of LEMON symbols that could mean that you win a 5x win of your initial wager amount.

Part two coming next.

Another Version of Blackjack– Atlantic City

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

Here we go again with another version of the popular game blackjack. This one was developed and first played in Atlantic City– and that’s where it got its name from! This is Atlantic City blackjack. It is a great variation of the classic blackjack. It has single as well multi-hand options and both versions have similar rules and strategies. But on multi-hand Atlantic City Blackjack the stakes are much higher. When  you do some research you will find that Atlantic City Blackjack has one of the lower casino edges at the casinos. The game is played with 8 decks of 52 playing cards. Decks are shuffled after the end of every game. The dealer has two cards at the beginning and checks for blackjack, in the case he’s got it, and the game ends before the player can lose his money by doubling. A blackjack beats any hand with a total value of 21 and the dealer stands on all 17s.

Atlantic City Blackjack you has a unique Late Surrender option. Two cards with the same denomination or value can be split. If you split a pair of Aces or any pair of cards with a value of 10 and draw then a card with a value of 10 or an Ace respectively, it is not considered a blackjack, though the value of the hand will be 21. The player can split up to three times to make four hands. But he can split Aces only once. If a pair of Aces is split, one card is dealt to each Ace, and the hand stands automatically. Once the first two cards have been dealt the player can choose to double. The doubling bet is the same as the original bet. It is possible to double down after the player has split his hand. If the player has a blackjack he can’t double down. The rules aren’t that different, but they do make for a more exciting game of blackjack if you are looking for some variety in your gaming. Test out Atlantic City blackjack and see for yourself how much fun this game is. The slight differences do change the odds and make the edge just a little better for you, the player.

European Blackjack and Vegas Downtown

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

Again– blackjack tops the list of the best games out there. It offers a great game of strategy with a potentially good payout. There are more variations of the game for you to enjoy. Here are two- European and Vegas Downtown to test out for yourself. First there is European Blackjack. This is a variation played with two decks of 52 cards. Decks are shuffled after every game has been completed. Otherwise the rules are quick to learn. Blackjack beats any hand with a total value of 21. The dealer must stand on all 17 and draws on all 16. Split is possible up to 3 times. The player can split hands with the same card denomination but not with the same value. A double is possible if you have a hand with a value of 9, 10 or 11. The doubling bet is the same as the original bet. After doubling down only one card is dealt and the hand stands automatically. The player can’t double after split. Like above if dealer’s face-up card is an Ace the player can make insurance that costs half the original bet. The player can’t make insurance after a split, or a double.

Vegas Downtown Blackjack is yet another single and multi-hand variation. It is played with 2 decks of 52 cards. Decks are shuffled after every game has been completed. A Blackjack beats any hand with a total value of 21. The dealer hits on soft 17. You can split up to 3 times to make four hands. Aces can be split only once. If a pair of Aces is split, one card is dealt to each Ace, and the hand stands automatically. After first two cards have been dealt you can double. The doubling bet is the same as the original bet. It is possible to double down after the player has split his hand. As typically found, if the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace the player can make insurance that costs half the original bet. Insurance doesn’t cover a second hand on a split, or a double bet. Either game you pick is going to offer you hours of gaming fun. Test them out for yourself and see how much excitement they can each be.

Consider Blackjack Switch for New Form of Blackjack

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

For blackjack lovers, there are a wide variety of games to choose from. If you do some research you can find games with small challenges. Blackjack Switch is one of the games you’ll find in most online casinos. Playing the game offers a special move—in this game there is a switch of the two top cards if you play two hands. This means that the gamer is given two hands so he can bet on both. That gives him the option of swapping two of the top cards where he wishes. In that way the player has the opportunity to operate the odds in accordance with what his or her goals with the gaming session are.

As an example let’s say you have 2-9 and A-4 hands, you can switch 9 and 4, so you will have A-9 hand (19 points) and 2-4 hand (6 points). This is the great feature, but you should be sure that the casino will do everything possible to increase the house edge. That’s the thing about finding different games that offer different edges to the player—the house will always work to bring the players’ edges down and their edge back up. One advantage the house has is that the dealer can have 22 points without busting. That means that the dealer who has a hand of 22 can tie the gamer’s 21 hand, in spite of the fact, the gamer has the blackjack. Also, even when you hit 22, you will also bust. Blackjack is paid 1 to 1, so the gamblers lose on a push.

You also can switch with 6 decks and the cards are shuffled after each round. The dealer will hit on a soft 17 and the players all can double where they wish. There is also the Super Match side bet. This is a bet that is wagered before the cards are dealt. The Super Match bet is paid for the first four cards and if you have a pair, the Super Match will be paid out the ration of 1:1 and you get a prize paid out of 5:1 for a strip. You get 8:1 for the two pairs and 40:1 if you get four cards of the same kind.
