• The fight between Duhamel and Choeng. The two poker players faced off at various times throughout the day. It wasn’t for the faint hearted- that is for sure! These two pros used every tool in their arsenal to fend each other off. In fact, it was a three-handed play that started it all. Duhamel proving his own skill as a gamer was able to practice and bring Choeng down. He ended up turning the entire table around and winning the chip lead quickly. No one thought he would play as aggressively as he did because of the weight of the game and the huge payout at stake. They thought wrong.
• Candio and Grinder bluff payout. Candio was a player who went up against Grinder at the end of the round and managed to bluff. This is a sign of how a great bluff plays out perfectly in the game of poker. We have all heard about the bluff and knowhow it works, but carrying it out in a high profile game is another thing. Candio managed to do just that and it would do any new poker player a good advantage to watch how he managed to do it. It seemed to come out of nowhere to the viewing public and to Grinder. That is exactly how it is supposed to happen. A good bluff comes out of nowhere and people say, “How did he/she do that?”
• The final table win of Duhamel. Duhamel is a sign of how aggressive play is no longer looked down on. Some players recently have stated that they are more attuned to playing well, rather than playing aggressively. Duhamel fought off that wives’ tale. He played with big wagers and big chances from the time he sat down at the table and never eased up on any of his opponents. It was without a lot of stress too—he managed to be calm and cool throughout it all.
Overall this year’s WSOP was one of the most exciting to find its way to the airwaves. If you love poker, then you should definitely follow up with watching the tournament. Not only are you going to love watching them duke it out for the big pay, but you also are going to learn a thing or two about poker strategy and be able to take that experience to the actual table for your next good game.

The family of Jonathan Duhamel has been celebrating since the end of this year’s WSOP, World Series of Poker. Duhamel of course is the winner of the main event and walked away with well over $8.9 million in payout. He has been playing poker now for just over five years and has spent hours honing his strategy at the table. If you love poker, then he is an example of what you can do to push yourself to great heights. Of course the game is about luck too and if you don’t have it, you may have to just bow out of a round, but that is to be expected. The true fun of the game comes in when you get good enough to start managing your own hand and gaining your own strategy with gaming. Remember that a poker game is going to be different every time you play. Unlike a slots game where the game is basically set in terms of options, with poker things are different. Poker pits you against a long list of people and that list varies depending on what game you are playing. You get different cards to manage and the wagers are different. This makes it one of the most diverse games around. if you are looking for a game that has variation and is always exciting, then test this one out.
Duhamel knows how much fun the games can be and how lucrative too. Not only did he manage to win, but he managed to play against some of the best players in the market right now. Though he is young, he is one of the most heralded players now due to his WSOP main event win. He initially started at PrincePoker.com. This is a sign of how valuable online poker can be to help players get into the games. They can get the experience they need to translate it into the “real” poker table by playing online. The added benefit is that if you do play online, you are going to be playing against as wide a market as possible. Overall Duhamel’s win was another sign of how lucrative poker gaming can be in today’s gambling-friendly world.

A unique offering is on the table for gamblers at UltimateBet.com. The online auction website Bidibot.com just announced that players have the opportunity to play for poker chips at the website. Auction websites are helpful in today’s market because they allow buyers to find products and services at a highly discounted rate. For example, you may have to pay $1,500 for a bicycle at a retail outlet. On the other hand, you can find the same bike online at an auction website for anywhere from $150 to $500. The savings of an auction website are huge and most people are attuned to the changes. They are ready for the market and want to come up with more and more ways to get the products they want, but with a huge savings attached. Searching at auction websites is one of the easiest ways to do this. Now Bidibot.com is entering the auction market. The website was first brought to the market thanks to a team of professional poker players and sports lovers. Their goal was to make high-dollar events and tournaments accessible for average gamers. For example, a good poker tournament could cost $1,500 to buy-into. Of course the payout will be large too, but coming up with that initial money for the buy-in could prove to be difficult for gamers who are well worthy of the showing in the tournament. So what can they do? There are satellite tournaments for them to play to win their way into the tournaments, but now there is another option. Most satellite tournaments offer just a few places into big name games and it leaves a vast market out of the mix. Bidibot.com strives to change that.
The website operator’s goals are to make gambling at top dollar websites affordable so everyone has a good shot at participating in a huge tournament. Now the website has teamed up with Poker Stars, Victory Poker and Go Casino to offer bidding for their various tournaments. Some of them are valued up to $10,000 with chips and credits as low as one penny for the initial bid. It is a great way for gamers of all bankroll levels to get in on the fun.

One of the quickest growing games in the online market is the game of poker. More and more gamers are joining in on the poker table and all the fun it has to offer. Poker gaming remember is a combination of skill and luck—so that gives you a hand in your win, but still follows the model of luck-based gambling. The growth in online gambling has been tremendous in the world. There are thousands of players joining in on online gambling every month and that is fueling millions of dollars into the economy every month. It is estimated that gambling is a $3 billion business and set to double in about five year’s time. There is currently no other business that even comes close to that kind of growth in the global market today. Now PokerWinner.com is the newest casino website to start offering freeroll tournaments to gamers. They are offering the new feature via the popular social networking website Facebook. In it players will be able to compete for a portion of a payout pool of $500. This should provide some wins, but also provide exciting gaming for the thoussands of players who participate.

Another advantage of gambling at tournaments is that they are much faster pace than playing on your own. This is a great way for gamers who are bored with the normal slot games to reinvigorate their gaming. Normally all tournaments are timed. That means that a certain number of rounds have to happen over the course of any given tournament’s allotted time span. This is great for gamers who want to push themselves for faster gaming. With slots it is a given that time isn’t that big of a deal, but if you get in on a blackjack or a poker tournament, here is where the time element is going to make a big difference. You have to make decisions that are relatively quick and you have to be aware of the various results of your moves. It’s that split-second decision making that is going to push you to be a better player and win more. With slots things are a little different—you don’t have to worry about making the right moves, but you can still keep on wagering faster.
The other thing about playing in slots tournaments is that they offer bigger returns. Remember when you are playing on a single game, you may win, but you may not. On the other hand, when playing in a big dollar slots tournament someone has to win. There is a payout pool and whoever is at the top of the list in terms of points is going to win the money allotted for payout. This normally is the top players, whether that includes five, ten or fifteen top leaderboard winners. Add to that benefit that slots tournaments are getting more popular than ever and that means that the payouts are growing too. Casinos want to attract as many customers as possible and having a huge payout attached to the game is the way to do it. They build promotions that are bigger and better than ever. If you are in any way bored with your gaming, then consider testing out a few good tournaments. You are going to love the advantages and they hopefully may even pay off for you!

If you are in the market for a new online casino no doubt you have read the lists of what to look for. There are the standbys of secure servers, variety of games and bonuses. You want a good blend of all three and to make sure that they are in one casino so you have the best chances at a good experience. In the world of gambling there are a lot of options and casinos are fiercely competitive. If you don’t find all that you want from a casino in one place then no doubt you will find it at five other online casinos. The world of gambling is growing and as the market continues to expand, gamers are getting more sophisticated. They know what to look for and no longer settle for just half of their casino wish list. Now they want the full package and that is exactly what they can find online today. It isn’t hard. Your best bet is to do a simple search and then test out a few casinos. Today’s market gives you a lot of opportunities to test out games so you won’t have to even spend your own cash. There is something in addition to the above three elements of gaming that you have to watch out for though.
If you are a gamer, then you have to make sure the casino you are at offers tournaments. Most casinos today do, but there is a definite quality to tournaments that you want to keep a particular eye on. Tournaments are built around games that are favorites. For example, let’s say you hear about a new slots game that is building a huge following in the market. Most likely it won’t take long for the casinos that offer the game on the tournament level. There are a myriad of reasons why tournaments are so much fun and more of an advantage for gamers. One of the main reasons is because of how affordable they are. Think about it—to play a good slots game for an hour could cost you $100 if you want to wager the maximum number of lines. On the other hand, a tournament offers you a certain number of coins for your buy-in amount. You can find tournaments for as little as $5 and that sets you up to wager with say, 500 credits right off the bat.
Part two coming next.

If you have been gambling for any length of time online then you no doubt have see the “free game” casinos. Many argue that these have no value because of the public perception of them. For example, let’s say five players are in a poker room. They all signed up for free and got 5,000 credits to wager with. The five start playing the round, but all players are especialy aggressive with their coins. No one holds back at all because their game is free and they want to use up all their chips. The theory is that if gamblers are given free chips, they are going to naturally play with a reckless abandon that they wouldn’t play normally with if they paid for the game. This could be true– let’s face it, without risk gamers are going to play more aggressively. And why shouldn’t they? At this level the game probably is serving one of two purposes: 1) either the gamer wants to learn the nuances of the game before risking their own money or 2) the player wants a fun pastime. Neither one lends itself well to learning strategy, so if that is what you are after, you might want to consider wagering at a low-wager game.
Learning strategy in skill based games is the number one priority of gamers. You want to have fun, but also get better. The best way to do this is to play against other players and put yourself into as many different gaming situations as possible. You want to play against novices, mid-level gamers and professionals if possible. This is the best way to not only practice your skills, but watch other gamers and see what they do to manage their hands. The good news is that there are enough affordabel options that you are going to be able to find casinos where you can wager affordably. Tournaments are low cost games filled with multiple rounds where you can wager on a set amount of credits. These are some of the most financially effective ways of learning any game. Just buy credits and then play against a wide range of gamers. So in answer to the question, “Do free casino games have value?” the answer is “Yes!” But, that value is dependent on what you are looking for. If you want to learn the skills, then pay the money. Even in gambling, you get what you pay for.

One of the best things that has happened for the gambling market is the introduction of big time tournaments. Whether they are gambling-based like the WSOP or sports based like the Super Bowl, gamblers everywhere jump on them for their exciting wagering possibilities. Online gambling companies take wagers in various sporting events in mass numbers and those numbers are set to do nothing but increase in the market. Sports betting is one of the most exciting and prevalent pastimes of the world’s gamblers and is showing no signs of slowing down. There is a new sporting event in the world and it is most likely going to be a welcome entrant to the world of wagering. It isn’t exactly “new” but it has been missing in the market for some time now and is first now reentering the market. It is the World Series of Golf, or WSOG.
The WSOG first began just three years ago and was created to pit the best golfers and poker players against each other. Now the 2010 leg of the tournament is well upon us. The games are going to be exciting because of how they combine gambling with professional golf play. This is something that is going to continue to grow in the market. More and more companies are going to combine with gambling due to its overwhelming popularity. It is a great way for companies to increase their own revenues in the market and come up with better promotional opportunities too. Online gamblers have proven to love sports wagering, and so do land based gamers. Overall bookmakers’ numbers have risen in the past few months—not to the levels they were pre-recession, but they still have been on a positive upswing. That is great news for the market because it is on an upswing too. If you look at the numbers—even in a depressed place like Las Vegas—you are going to see a definite turnaround. It isn’t as big as the market would like, but it still is positive. The WSOG is just one more gaming tournament that most likely is going to bring a huge amount of activity to the market in 2010.
