Big news in the market is the EPT, or European Poker Tour. It is as large as the WSOP and proving that poker gambling is highly lucrative and fun. Thousands of people took part in the tournament in an effort to make it to the final table. There was only one though who could eventually take that title and it was Swedish player Kent Lundmark. He eventually faced off with a professional poker player at the final table to win €825,000. This is a sign of how big poker gaming is becoming all over the world these days. There was a time when the big payouts of the WSOP for example were unique. The organizers stood alone in handing out the huge life-changing amounts. Now that is not the case. Now you can find big dollar tournaments everywhere. The EPT is just one more example of how big the games are getting nowadays. Everyone loves poker gambling for what it has to offer in terms of gaming and strategy building. The casino games are fun and come with a long time of study and honing skill. Unlike slots, for example, you most likely can’t just jump into a tournament and do well. You have to put in the hours to practice with players and learn how to manage your hand and bankroll.
The final table for the EPT was made up of eight people and they all duked it out. Perhaps as a sign of where the market is going, the players were all from different countries. It was representative of how popular poker is all over the world and how everyone is trying to get in on gaming fun. It means that more and more gamers are expected to join in on the fun next year. The WSOP has shown consistent growth over the years and most likely the EPT is going to show the exact same thing as more and more gamers get in tune with the game. Poker is a game that has a lot to offer and one by one, gamers from all over the world are finding that out.

Research is showing that more and more young people are considering professional poker player as a viable career choice. Some experts are worried about that. There are a number of young people leaving college, or at least dedicating a lot of time to poker gaming. Part of the growth rate is because young people keep on winning big dollar tournaments like the WSOP. Consider that the WSOP recently was won by a 23-year old. He practiced the game for a few years online and in land based games, and then moved his expertise to the big tournament world. He won the WSOP and won over $8.9 million at the main table, not to mention the accolades of winning the premiere event’s main table. It was big news that the payout was that big, up from $8.5 million last year, and it was equally big news that someone so young won it. This is most likely where the draw of poker gaming for young people is coming from. They see the big payout as a result of playing a good game of poker.
Experts are not supportive of the decision to focus on poker gaming in lieu of an education. They warn that though the winners of big-dollar casino tournaments can be huge, there is only one winner. For every million-dollar winner there are hundreds of losers. Consider that in the last WSOP there were over 5,000 players vying for the win. That is not the total. Remember that there are hundreds of satellite tournaments where people try to make it to the next qualifying level of the WSOP. Overall it is a great way for young players to take their chances at. If a player has some strategy and believes that he or she can make it to the higher levels of the poker tournaments in the market, then they should give it a shot. But they need to realize how slim a shot it is. Experts warn that quitting college, leaving jobs or changing jobs for a big tournament win is highly risky. On the other hand, if a player wants to keep their “real life” but take a shot at the WSOP, it could just pay off. Even if they don’t win the big table payout, there are still enough smaller tables to make a win at.

Another thing that Duhamel did was to practice his skill online. It is a growing pastime for gamers to play online and millions are finding that it is helpful when building skills. There are hundreds of places online where you can find good poker tournaments to have fun with. These are some of the best places to find good gambling experience. A lot of online casinos today are also offering tournament play with poker that has no buy-in. the games are all learning tools for gamers to hone their own skills. The one caution is that because people are not playing for “real” money, they tend to be more aggressive than they would at a real game. This could cause some confusion with a newer player wanting to get accustomed to the overall gaming experience at a poker table. Despite the norm of playing conservatively though, Duhamel squashed that trend with his own play. It was a headlining event when he won the WSOP main table with an aggressive style of play. He went up against professional players, but never wavered in his style.
Finally, there also was a good lesson with the recent WSOP for poker gamers. Duhamel won the main table with a lot of luck. The game of poker is a game that has a huge element of strategy to it. You can’t normally walk into a casino game and play without some time spent studying up and working on your own skills as a player. This is what draws so many people to the game—they know that it is going to grow with them as a gamer. They can continue to work on their own skill and have hours of fun doing so. The thing about Jonathan Duhamel though that didn’t fit that mold was that he didn’t have a whole lot of real-life practice. In fact, this was one of his first tournaments. Other gamers have normally played between fifteen to twenty different poker tournaments that are high profile before seeing any real success in the games. Duhamel of course walked in, played aggressively and took over the main table for a win of well over $8 million.

If you are looking to join in on the WSOP fun for next year, consider doing a lot of research. In the world of poker gambling there are plenty of options when it comes to watching. Remember that the games are gaining a new popularity and acceptance in the mainstream market. if you want to wager, all you have to do is continue to play online or watch late night television. Most likely you are going to find more than a few games to watch and take something away from in terms of skill building. The game of poker is popular because of its duality—it is a game of luck but it also comes with a healthy dose of strategy to it. You can work on your own strategy a number of ways. First of all, you can play in tournaments at land based casinos. These normally happen every weekend, if not every day. You can pay a relatively small buy-in amount and then wager for the big prize pool. You also can use the online gambling casinos for learning the game. There are hundreds of online poker rooms that offer tournaments almost every minute of the day. You can surely find more than a few to help you to wager and learn your craft as a gamer. Once you do get a strategy, then you can consider joining in on the competitive fun at the 2011 WSOP.
If you are considering playing in the next WSOP, then consider taking a few cues from this year’s winner Jonathan Duhamel. He won the main table and walked away with over $8 million in winnings. The uniqueness of his gaming was evident from the beginning. First of all, he was aggressive. A lot of gamers hold back during a high-dollar poker game. They are also cautious when playing with a long list of professional players who have made names for themselves. Either one can cause a newer player to hold back with gambling and play timidly. Duhamel squashed that mode of gaming and was aggressive from the beginning of the main table game this year.
Part two coming next.

November was a great month for poker fans. The game first of all is one of the most popular in the market. Remember that a lot of gambling games are solely luck based. This means that you can’t do anything to affect the outcome or give yourself a better chance of winning. You have to just take your chances and what you get, is what you get. The games are much more useful for the gamer who just wants to pass time and have a good gaming experience. On the other hand, there are games like poker—or, games of strategy. Poker has an element of luck to it, but it has a bigger element of strategy. You can learn the game and how to increase your chances of a win if you practice. A good poker player with a bad hand, isn’t necessarily going to lose. With some skill, he or she may work their way out of a loss and win the big payout. This is why games of poker are so popular. They offer gamers hours of fun to enjoy getting better. The month of November is WSOP month and now that it is almost over, the WSOP crowned its many winners. The event was bigger and better than ever. So far it has been around for over thirty years and has grown to the premiere poker tournament in the market.
There are other tournaments coming into the market and they are growing bigger, but they still haven’t reached the level of the WSOP. The payouts this year were higher than ever too. The main table winner walked away with a $8.9 million prize win. This is one of the biggest payouts every handed out, and that is most likely going to rise as the years progress. This is a sign of how popular the world of gambling is and how much poker is taking over in popularity too. If you are looking for a new game to enjoy, then test out poker. Tournaments like the WSOP are proving how popular games are and most likely will help to bring poker gaming to a new level in years to come.

If you have wondered about gambling in the US, you are not alone. Now that the rules are up for debate, many in the industry are worried where the market is going to go in coming years. Right now the UIGEA is still in effect. The bill, set in 2006, makes online gambling illegal and puts flagging transactions related to gambling in the hands of financial institutions. This has been a heavy cross for banks to bear due to the increased costs for scrutinizing every transaction and flagging those related to online gaming. It is not without a lot of repercussions though that the UIGEA has been implemented. Many gaming activities that for all accounts should have gone through were swept under the bill’s umbrella and denied. For example, some state run lottery and sports wagering transactions were deemed illegal when they should have been accepted with no problem. This is just one of the problems the UIGEA ended up creating and legislators are pushing to make some strides in either reworking it or amending it.
Despite the initial problems of the UIGEA though, gambling in the US is still increasing. A new study done by ComScore is proving how gamers are moving into the market in record numbers. In fact this past month was one ov the gastest growing for the country. ComScore noted that the internet based gaming sector has grown by 20% this past month alone. That is a huge growth rate and there is no other industry that can even compete with the market in terms of growth right now. This is proof that the US has to make some serious changes in gambling law to accommodate the growth and public interest. in particular note of growth was the rise in online tournament play and the number of players participating in tournaments. It is a sign of where things are going in the market and you can expect more and more companies to continue to push for bigger and better tournament play. This is a great sign for pro-gaming organizations that have been waiting for some positive movement in the market. It is no doubt something that gaming companies are going to be hoping to capitalize on in the future.

Jonathan Duhamel became the first Canadian poker player to win a WSOP main event title. He ended up walking away with $8.9 million in a payout. The thing about Duhamel is that his gaming was aggressive…all the experts cited his intriguing use of the game’s rules and regulations. He did not at any point limit his gaming. He surprised a lot of viewers with his style of play, but in the end it paid off. Aggressive play isn’t always about the biggest hand—in fact, it isn’t about the biggest hand often. Rather it is about pushing the wagers up to the maximums and playing the bluffs well. That is exactly what Duhamel did. He managed to intimidate players more than a few times and also managed to push up the payouts quickly. His main virtue was his aggression but his strategy was great too. It was interesting that Duhamel was a second banana to Cheong for a lot of the game. He was aggressive with Cheong, but ended up on the losing end of the hands when he tried. So what did he do? Duhamel pulled back and used a different strategy with Cheong. He still was aggressive with other players, but saved it for this one player. In the end his strategy of variation paid off.
This is a sign of how much strategy it takes to play a game of poker. Duhamel’s strategy included playing games aggressively when needed but still pulling back with other players. He knew how to manage his own final table and walk away with a huge win. This is a sign of how poker gamers can manage a game and have to know how to act in different situations. Sure being aggressive is a huge advantage in some situations, but in others it is best to pull back and be much more simplistic and timid. This is exactly what Duhamel showed he is an expert at with gambling he showed that he can employ all the various tools gambling has to offer. If you are looking for a gambling win, then consider playing with varying styles. One style does not fit all games. Rather, test your luck and respond to your opponents. That’s exactly what Duhamel did and now he is $8.9 million richer as a result.
