Are Roulette Systems Worth your Time?

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

If you have ever played roulette, then no doubt you have come across those websites that claim to have a “sure fire” roulette system. They advertise that for just $14.99 you can own the system and start winning immediately. The huge payouts will pay for the cost of the program, whether it is a DVD series, a book, an e-book or a group of online streaming videos. Their pitches are persuasive and give you the notion that you just might be able to use them to win your next game of roulette. I mean who wouldn’t want to find a way to beat the house every time? Who wouldn’t want to have a 100%-guaranteed win every time they logged into an online casino?

So what is the real deal with online roulette systems? First you have to know how the games work. Roulette games, just like slots games, are run by a random number generator, or RNG. The RNG is what decides what numbers come up. In the game, you have to pick what numbers you want to wager on and then wait for the ball to end up in that pocket after the wheel is spun. Does that system sound like there is anything you can do to influence it? If you said yes, then read it again. If you said no, then you are on to something. Games that are built on randomness or chance are not influenced by anything. There is no skill or strategy that is going to help you win the game or better your odds of a win at all. You have to understand the world of randomness and not be pulled in by sales pitches. Remember that that is exactly what these products are- sales pitches. They won’t give you any insight or control over the game. The best thing about these games that are based on luck is that all they are meant for is fun. Slots, roulette and games like these are there for fun and that is all. Don’t worry about a strategy– if that is what you are looking for them look to games like poker– just sit back and have fun with your gaming.

Roulette5 Enters the Market

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

One thing that you can count on in the gambling market is the overwhelming amount of games being brought to the market. Software developers understand better than anyone that gambling online is big business. They know that there are billions to be had and if they don’t keep customers coming into their casinos, other casinos will. The market is highly competitive these days so if businesses aren’t ready to handle the demand, then they are going to grow out of the industry altogether. For this reason developers are expanding considerably. Their goal is to make sure that online gamblers are kept happy. That the games are out there to keep them busy and that they are kept interested. If they aren’t then the companies risk losing millions in revenue.

WinADay.com is a website that knows full well how online gambling is moving. They just announced the release of a new game called Roulette 5. It is a game that takes its base from the classic roulette game, but with a little something extra. The game allows players to walk away with up to 5 times what they normally would win with just one spin of the wheel! The roulette player also gets to pick how many wheels to spin simultaneously. There isn’t a whole lot of variation with roulette gaming- until now! WinADay.com has just shown how gaming companies have to continue to develop games online. They have to push the envelop in terms of return and capability to keep the gaming community interested in what normally would be considered a “routine” game.

The best thing about Roulette 5 is that it also can be played by people with varying bankrolls. The one problem with a lot of newer games is that they require a big bankroll to manage. When one spin of the wheel is valued at $20 by the casino, obviously people with a $50 bankroll would want to steer clear of the game. That is not the case with Roulette 5– in this game you can wager as little as twenty-five cents and all the way up to a fairly large wager. Take advantage of this new version of the classic gambling game called roulette. It gives you the best in gaming, but also a little something extra for your trouble!

Playing Roulette- Part 2

Monday, August 9th, 2010

When a player is ready to buy into the roulette game you must have roulette style chips, each player is designated a color when they buy into roulette. There is a minimum and maxinum bet at the roulette table and you must abide by this. Each roulette table may vary in the min and max betting allotments. The betting begins once the dealer has removed the maker from the last winning number from the betting area. When you bet, and decide to bet both inside and or outside the betting area. You are choosing numbers on the inside or a straddle line between two numbers. Playing a bet on the outside means you are betting on the boxes around the numbers. Also when betting on black or red, that is outside the numbers on the roulette table.

When betting keep in mind if you are betting on numbers straight up you will net a pretty nice return paying 35 to 1 if you choose the correct number of course. A split bet is a bet you can make on two numbers at once and the payout is generally half, paying 17 to 1. Each betting area allows you to bet as many chips as you want provided you do the minimum and not exceed the maximum. Once the dealer spins the wheel, last chance bets can be taken, but as soon as the ball drops the dealer will wave his arm over the table to signal no more bets. It is very important to remember when you are done playing at the roulette table to cash in your chips or you may not be able to. Roulette is one of those games that is on a timed schedule and if you don’t remember that you could win and then have to leave empty handed. Always cash out immediately. Some casinos are more strict on this than others, but almost every casino has the same time limits to adhere to. Overall roulette is a game of chance but still offers a lot of gaming fun. If you love to play and hope for good luck, then this could be the perfect game for you. Test it out and see for yourself how much fun the game can be.

It’s main draw is that it is a game that combines luck and skill. Just like poker, this is a game that allows for strategizing and honing gaming. Wheel Deal Promotion Offers Great Roulette Fun

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

For online gamers it is a great time to delve into the market. Now that legalization and regulation of online gambling is on the horizon, it is pretty clear that the industry as a whole is ready to blow up even bigger than it has in previous years. If you have been in the market for a new casino to test out, take a look at Slots Galore. Don’t let the name fool you—this website is about a lot more than slots gaming. Sure you will find slots that are premiere and unique, but you also will find a wide range of other games. You can log onto the Slots Galore website and find great table games like blackjack, video poker, backgammon and roulette.

The website recently offered a great promotion to the gaming public. It is still going on now and the promotion is a very good one. It lasts until tomorrow—April 29th—and you can still get in on the fun if you hurry to the casino website. The entry fee for the promotion is $2 and the promotion is called the “Wheel Deal.” The overall amount that comes in from participants will then be divided up to all winners. The game featured throughout the promotion is roulette. That is a great advantage because there aren’t a whole lot of online promotions that feature roulette—in fact, it is considered to be one of the most forgotten gambling games when it comes to the online world.

Roulette has gotten a bad name in the past due to the lowered edge when it comes to playing. A lot of gamblers don’t want to test out roulette because they feel that their edge is considerably lowered due to the gaming rules. The Wheel Deal promotion is played with American roulette though. In online events, players have the same chances of a win and the same edge they would have with other forms of roulette. That means that this is a great game to get in on. If you are a fan of roulette or online gaming, test this one out. There is still time to get in on the promotion if you hurry over to Slots Galore online casino.

Online Roulette Offers Hours of Fun

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

The fun and excitement of playing online Roulette can beat out roulette played in real casinos. The development and popularity of Roulette are credited to French mathematician Blaise Pascal, who disclosed the winning tips and strategies for Roulette. The same principles form the basis for online Roulette too. Roulette is based on mathematics and probability. It’s a game of math. The online version of the game runs seamlessly so you’ll save time. No dealer to deal with or setting the ball. It’s a few clicks of a mouse that will get the game rolling again and again.Online Roulette combines aspects of both American and European Roulette versions. American wheel has an extra 00, making the total number of pockets to 38. Here too, gamblers prefer to play at European wheel as the best gambling wheel, because it contains 37 pockets less than the American wheel. This increases the odds of winning.

Place your chips online by clicking the mouse until you reach the number you want to bet. The wheel is spun by clicking the wheel icon. The rotation of the wheel can be stopped by clicking the same icon again. Online Roulette rules are simple and are easy to understand—just like the game it is pretty straightforward. You also can refer back to the strategy chart if you need some help with bets. The odds of winning are the same as in live casinos. Preference for European table is a common trend in both online as well as real casinos. In European wheel, players have a little edge over the house. An apparent attraction of online casinos is that, they use more European Roulette tables than land-based casinos. Online casinos also give you the “free play” option and you can find some that offer you an instant chat box where you can communicate with other players. This is a great tool when it comes to getting inside information on what casinos to test out. The free play option gives you the chance to hone your skill, learn the wagers and the overall play of the game before you start wagering your own money.

Venturing to the World of Roulette

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

Anyone who has been in a land-based or online casino has seen the infamous roulette wheel. In fact, the wheel has been featured on many TV shows and movies too. If you have never played, here are some basics to remember:

  • Roulette wheels in general have 38 numbers: 1-36, 0, and 00, some casinos have specialty symbols that you can hit on the wheel. There are different variationsof the game where different numbers of pockets are used. Be sure to note what style of game your casino is using, but in general they all work the same way. There is a slight difference in your edge as the numbers change though.
  • After everyone places their bets the wheel is spun and a ball is placed on the outer edge of the wheel. The ball will then drop into one of the numbered pockets once the wheel slows down.
  • Looking at the wheel you will see that the numbers alternate in pairs of odd numbers with pairs of even numbers and alternate between black and red. The two zeros are green in color and are placed at opposite ends of the wheel.
  • The winning player is the one to determine which number or color the ball will ultimately land on in the end.
  • The layout of the wheel is arranged so that the 36 numbers are arranged in 3 columns of 12 numbers each. The numbers are in sequence, and can be either red or black, depending on the number. There are two types of roulette bets: inside bets and outside bets.  There are 6 inside bets: straight bet, split bet, street bet, corner bet, five number bet, and a line bet. There are three basic outside bets: even-money, column, and dozen bets.
  • You can place as many different bets as you want and there are no limits to the number of wagers placed on each spin, as long as the total dollar amount does not exceed $100.

Roulette is one of the most exciting games you’ll find at a casino and there is a reason why the tables tend to be full. It is a game of luck, but the various wagers can help sway your chances at a win. Check out roulette next time you are in a land-based casino or log-into a virtual one.
