This was big weekend for gaming companies. Halloween brings a lot of fun with it and part of it means parties and excitement. Many casinos around the nation held parties to usher in fall and celebrate the 31st of October. This is one of the best things about the market right now. It is so competitive that almost every event in the calendar has some promotion built around it. Now that the end of the year is here, it is a time when there is going to be one premiere event after another. Most of them are going to come with their own set of payouts and jackpots, along with prizes and cash draws. Big casinos know that to bring people in, they have to push the boundaries of what they offer and make things even more lucrative than they ever were. This is where casinos come in with their advertising and promotion departments. Both know that they have to work hard to bring in customers who are looking for the best deals. Halloween is not unlike any other time in that there are long lists of things to do. You can scan the papers and the internet to find long lists of Halloween specials. Plus the fact that this Halloween ended up landing on a weekend made things even more exciting.
Las Vegas has long been a party town that celebrated Halloween. If you go there, you no doubt are going to see more than a few opulent costumes. Most casinos have some type of costume party and at them there are a wide variety of wagers and fun games for players. They can enter drawings and come up with even more of a payout to take home and celebrate with. Some casinos in Las Vegas are trying to outdo each other with payouts too by offering big-ticket items like flat-screen TV, trips and cars. They are working to build promotions that everyone will love and dong a great job of it. This following week be sure to check with the headlines and no doubt you are going to find out who the lucky winners are and how they fared during the weekend.

If you are a gamer then no doubt you have been attracted by the big progressive jackpots. These of course are the ones attached to the most popular slots. Gaming companies find the most high-performing slots games and then continue to build around them. Promotions and specials are their first order of business as they continue to build more and more wealth via the games. If you have ever played at a top-notch casino then no doubt you have seen them hold a progressive event. This is where the casino will network a game with other games. That network can be small—two or three machines—or it can be over a huge geographic area. If it is over a large area that is how the games’ progressive jackpots can grow so quickly. Consider that if just ten people are wagering the top amount over one hour, they can push that jackpot up at a rate of thousands of dollars per hour. That rise in payout is why these games are so popular with slots lovers—not only can they have a great gaming experience, but they also can provide a life-changing payout if you get lucky enough to win them.
PartyCasino.com is one of the biggest and most reputable casinos around today. If you are looking for a wide selection of games and big jackpot, then this is the perfect casino for you. It combines a huge range of games and they all are premiere. You also can take advantage of the casino’s specials and bonuses—these are going to help you earn more money back and credits. Of course credits are just as much fun as money because they allow you to try more games free of cost. PartyCasino.com just handed out a huge progressive jackpot. The lucky winner took home a payout of just over $4,978,000. This is a testament to how lucrative games can be these days. No longer do slots games hand out just a few hundred dollars—in today’s market they can come up with huge payouts. That is part of the appeal of slots—they are growing with the market considerably.

The spokesperson for the casino confirmed that the games are fine for every skill level of player. Consider that ten years ago gambling was in its new stages and people were still hesitant to jump into gaming. For example, look at the WSOP, World Series of Poker. The tournament began with just six participants who loved the game and wanted to build something big while bringing a new notoriety to the hobby. Now, almost forty years later poker is one of the biggest pastimes around. The WSOP hands out multi-millions in payouts for table winners and has big-name corporate sponsorship. No longer is it an underground activity that a few players join together to play. Now there are millions of players who love the game and participate in all the online tournaments and land-based poker tournaments they can. This is just one example of how far poker has come and how far it surely will continue to go in the future.

The two companies recently announced their strategic affiliation to gain a bigger market share in the world of online gambling. This is great news for players who can expect some of the most dynamic and interesting new games and promotions as a result of this venture. For the companies, this is great news too. Recent studies have shown just how much the joint venture has already financially benefited both companies. Bwin and Party Gaming are each valued at around GBP 1 billion each and that means that this merger is shifting the value of the stocks. Stockholders in each company are excited because of the huge jump in value. They are the real winners here because already stock prices are soaring as a result of the merger. In addition, players can expect even better gaming possibilities and UI technologies to enter the market. Now is a great time to get in on the products that these two companies introduce to the new market. Most likely they are all going to be premiere and dynamic for all gamers to enjoy.

Online site Party Poker has major events on the way with the announcement of their French release. Poker in France has become widely popular over the past two years with well-known players such as Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier and Antoine Saout directing the way on the world wide market. As a result, many newer players have taken to the virtual games with the goal of creating in the potentially lucrative online poker gaming world. This is an exclusive deal with PMU made to take advantage of the sweeping poker trend in France. The deal will see Party’s poker software being used in conjunction with the pari-mutual horse racing company PMU to provide a new gaming site for French players. For now the project is in transition while both entities are waiting for their licensing to come through but once the technicalities are completed the website should be up and running very quickly.
PartyGaming’s CEO, Jim Ryan is ecstatic. He is pleased with the company’s recent business deal, stating that it is consistent with their plans to expand and secure the services of a number of high-value partenrships. This is one of the best thing about the gambling world- there are a wide number of affiliations going on at any given time and they only make for better gaming for the customer. Companies online are highly competitive and need to create the best promotions to bring more and more people in. The world of internet gambling is also growing quickly and technologies are moving towards better and better gaming capabilities. Only the companies that manage to maintain a dynamic and fresh use of technology mixed with great bonuses are going to remain lucrative throughout the next few years. The US is working to legalize and regulate online gaming and that means that there is a huge industry focus on the development of the market. Now that the recession is over, poeple are just starting to move back into their old spending habits and hopefully that includes gambling. It will take time to get completely back to normal, but things are looking good. Casinos are showing some growth and that’s great news for operators.

2009 was a hard year for many industries due to the recession. Almost every industry suffered huge losses as a result of the heightened unemployment rate, diminishing home values and the overall burst of the credit bubble. One casino that suffered and noted its losses was Party Casino. The company, which is a parent company of Party Poker and Party Casino has posted its 2009 numbers. The numbers show that Party Gaming had lower revenues and even some losses during the financial crisis. The overall revenue was $446.2 million which is $26.7 million less than the revenue generated in 2008. The poker revenue for 2009 was $77.3 million less ($196.7 million) than 2008’s revenue of $274 million. All other sectors including the casino games, bingo, and sports betting had revenue that actually exceeded Party Gaming’s expectations for 2009. Industry experts claim that the lower gambling revenue for Party Gaming is a direct result of the settlement that was made with the US government last year, when they agreed to pay $105 million in a non-prosecution agreement with regard to activities in the United States prior to the UIGEA. On the positive side, Party Gaming purchased the World Poker Tour tournament series.
Chief executive officer of Party Gaming, Jim Ryan said, “We delivered a solid performance during 2009 which demonstrated the resilience of a business model that continues to generate strong cashflow, even in the most challenging of circumstances. Leading brands and market position, supported by a strong balance sheet underpin our business strategy. With some acquisitions and major B2B deals already under our belt, we plan to do more in 2010 and I believe we are on course to meet our objective of becoming the world’s most valuable online gaming company.” Now that Party Gaming is in complete compliance with US laws, they should be able to focus all of their efforts on developing their various gaming brands, and increase their global ad budget. Hopefully this will help the company to turn things around in 2010. Gambling is headed for huge growth throughout the next few years and Party Gaming is a premiere website. It may be able to turn things around and take advantage of the huge gaming numbers being projected by experts today.

The recession was hard on the gambling industry and the market is just turning around now. New studies have shown that nascent signs of growth are here. Leading online gambling operator PartyGaming, owner of PartyCasino, has revealed that its fourth quarter revenue has risen by 32% to $132.2million; this has been achieved by large acquisitions of companies including cashcade and a strong performance in its online casino and sports betting areas. The adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization and now likely to be slightly ahead of the board’s expectations; with new player sign-ups in the quarter rising 3% to around 213,000. “Whilst the regulatory picture in some countries remains uncertain, the momentum towards creating commercially viable and regulated markets is strong,” said CEO Jim Ryan. “Quarter 4 finished even stronger than we had anticipated, largely due to casino,” says KBC Peel Hunt analyst Nick Batram. “Meanwhile, poker has delivered its first quarterly sequential revenue growth since Q1 2008. This is yet another example of management delivery.”
In other PartyGaming news, the company has separately announced the appointment of Per Widerstroem to a newly created role of chief operating officer at the online casino company. This is a move that could prove to be a wise one for the casino. Not only does it help with the question of bringing new ideas into the mix, it also helps to solidify Party Gaming with a CEO who has a great reputation for former success in the market of gambling. Widerstroem has an impressive resume of working with other companies and bringing them to the next level of excellence. He is a leader with a special know-how when it comes to the gambling market. He was instrumental to building the former success of other companies and building their promotiional and advertising departments. He was able to start new things while still creating exciting and reliable fun for this client base. The best thing about his guidance is his direction and ability to focus the companies he has worked for on the corporate vision. Only time will tell how well he does, but most likely this is a move the company will benefit from for years to come.
