If you are looking for a new casino to test out some horseracing, then consider trying ZEturf online casino. This is one of those websites that comes with a unique premise. You aren’t going to find a lot of online horseracing websites and this casino makes the most of its differences. The casino offers wagering, but not against other members of the casino like most other betting casinos do. You won’t be pitted up against anyone here. Rather, you will be participating in a wagering pool. The casino is not a bookmaker. The casino came into the market back in 2001 and since then has built itself up as a unique and fun website. If you love horse or racing, this could offer you the premiere gaming and wagering you are looking for. The casino just signed with Presse Quotidienne Regionale or PQR paper delivering company. This affiliation means that ZEturf is gaining the main place at managing horseracing online and going to benefit from PQRs promotional calendar.
PQR will be featured on the casino website as a sponsor and their job is to provide interesting commentaries and editorials on the market and various horseracing events that come into play. Expect them to work together well as the horseracing industry tries to take a footing again in the market. It has suffered as an industry since the recession and this is a great time for operators to make a petition for gamers to reenter the market and once again start wagering at the races. The company is using this affiliation too as a way to reach a bigger audience, promote the industry as a whole and give gamers a better wagering experience. Their goal is to grow with the market and continue to push horseracing to new heights. Hopefully in the process they will manage to reinvigorate the market. It has declining numbers as a result of the recession and has shown slow growth and change. This coupling could give the market the push it needs to bring in new customers and once again make wagering on the horse races an exciting and lucrative pastime for gamers all over the world.

One argument that anti-gambling activists have long held to was that if gambling was legalized it would inevitably bring in illegal activities. That is proving to be somewhat true as more and more legislations fend off illegal activities. Most are creating some type of task force to monitor the issue, investigate it and eventually break up illegal rings. The world of gambling is highly lucrative and thieves know this. They are putting their best efforts into taking advantage of the growing popularity of casinos and gaming. Asian nations are having problems with the issue in mass numbers. It is no secret that gambling in Asian countries is growing. Many are seeing huge amount of growth in their markets. Take Macau for example—the city reported a growth rate of 40% in just one month’s time period earlier this year. That number is taking off and for two months in a row the industry almost doubled its revenues. This means huge numbers for that area of the world and it means that more thieves are focusing on changes and making their own way into the market for the purpose of those millions of dollars.
One of the biggest issues is whether or not the money brought in from legalizing gambling will be truly worth the cost to economies. If cities and states have to put a huge portion of the millions being brought in directly to managing crime and corruption, how worthy an initiative is it to expand gambling? It could in the end cost too much and create too many more problems. Legislators are taking it slow and watching the market closely. They want to make sure that they have a good gambling plan and the laws in place to protect the gaming public before they completely allow gambling to enter their nations. If they don’t they could be making fatal mistakes in allowing gambling in. Right now all countries are weighting out their options carefully, hoping to combine the best of both world. They want the millions of dollars gambling brings in, but they don’t want to deal with the added problems that could potentially come with it.

Again the market is shifting—now it is Playtech that is making some strategic changes. One of the things researchers are going to find in the gambling market today is that things are changing. Even highly successful companies like Playtech aren’t resting on their laurels. The company is making no bones about how it is pushing towards continued growth and aggressive change in the market. Their leaders know that this could be the main reason they stay relevant. Face it though—Playtech has a great shot at staying relevant to the market. The company is one of the leading software developing companies in the market today and showing no signs of slowing down. Even despite the recession, the company was able to show a profit and lived through the minimum of losses. While other gaming companies had to scale back drastically, Playtech was not one of them. The company has been around long enough that it was able to sustain itself despite diminishing numbers in all markets, including online gambling. Now the company is pushing ahead by signing as an affiliate with Tain, a Swedish B2B gambling provider for online casinos. Tain is a company that began with its company vision on the global market and that is exactly where Playtech obviously wants to be. Together, the companies will have a great shot at becoming relevant to all parties involved in the market.
The two giants have been affiliated for the past five years, so they already have an efficient working relationship with each other. They are not increasing that connection though and embarking on an aggressive growth plan. They see the gambling market as a quickly expanding one and know that if they position themselves in the right way, they can take advantage of those growth markets from the ground up. They can push for better gaming and then gain as big a market share as possible right from the start. This is a smart move on their part. They see the gambling market for what it is—a high growth billion-dollar market. Expect great things from these two companies in the future as they embark on taking over the global gambling market together.

Once again gambling in the UK is feeling the brunt of changing laws. Now it is the online casino market, land based bookmakers and horseracing industries that are having problems dealing with new laws. The problem is that some legislators are holding to the idea that these companies need to contribute more funds to subsidizing the horseracing market as a whole. It is no secret that racing as a whole is suffering huge losses. Since the recession, the racing market has been dwindling quickly. People have had problems with wagering for some time now and the recession was difficult on all. People who used to support racing, were unable to do so after the recession occurred. Their biggest problems were paying for everyday bills, rather than having discretionary funds for wagering or racing wagers. Though the casino market has seen some growth and turnaround since the recession ended, racing hasn’t. In fact, as a whole the market has continued to decline to dangerously low numbers. It may take some time for things to even show the most nascent of signs of a turnaround. Because of this the racing industry is asking for help from other markets. They first petitioned for slots gaming to help them. A lot of racetrack owners requested their states allow them to open a slots parlor to help them elevate the numbers and bring in more revenue and traffic. This worked for a choice few, but not overall. Now they are looking for other ways of sustaining themselves until the market opens up to support them once again.
The decision to tax online casinos and land based bookmakers though is not sitting well with the two types of businesses. They believe that this is only penalizing their businesses for the purpose of helping a struggling one. Should they be held responsible for a failing market? The company’s directors also state that they are not yet far enough out of their own financial struggles as a result of the recession and this is another reason why they shouldn’t be burdened with turning things around. The cost to these companies can be huge and legislators are debating whether or not they are going to go through with the changes in taxation. So far it is UK’s Culture Secretary who will make the decision to decide whether or not the changes will happen.

It seems that everywhere in the world that is experiencing large growth rates in terms of gambling is also facing growth in illegal gambling. This was a definite concern of legislators who were writing laws. The anti-gambling activists believe that the rise in legal gaming means that crime and corruption will abound. They believe that if thieves realize how much money is to be had, they will try their own ways of taking advantage of that market. This will create a new cost—investigating, breaking up and persecuting those involved in the activities. They believe that the price is too big to pay. The Australian market is proving their suspicions may be right. The Federal Families Minister Jenny Macklin is voicing her concerns regarding gambling both land based and online. It is no secret that people want to wager—more and more Australian citizens are clamoring for gaming options. They want to be able to wager from the privacy of their own homes and at land based casinos. The issue though is that the legalities have to be regulated and those laws have to be written still. Right now the estimates are that the country’s citizens are spending over $1-billion a year on gambling. This growth rate has some concerned about how to adequately manage and still protect citizens.
As of right now there are no protections for citizens playing in online casinos and no recourse if they are scammed. This could pose huge problems for the market in the future. What if gamers start having issues? Are more companies going to move into the market? If so, how will they be regulated? There are a lot of questions the Australian market has to answer as they move closer and closer to gambling and as the market grows so quickly. Macklin stated that legislators are now trying to come up with laws that can sustain the added weight of a growth market. It may take time, but she is afraid that in that time more gamers may get into trouble with online casinos. They may have issues to deal with right off the bat and laws are not yet in place to protect the gamers involved.

For years now the horseracing industry has been in serious trouble. The recession was hard on all markets. One thing people cut back on drastically was gambling. Casinos—both online and land based—felt the repercussion with dwindling numbers and lowered customer bases. Remember at the height of the recession the unemployment numbers were high. This left people with diminishing nest eggs and little to no discretionary funds left over. People were more concerned with making their house payments and bills, rather than gaming at the newest online or land based casino. Although the recession was over, racetrack activities have not returned to normal. They are still down and this is making it even more difficult for them to stay open. Another problem is the new casinos cropping up in the market. This is creating competition that racetracks are not yet ready to shoulder. One location that knows this all too well is New Jersey. The state has long been struggling to reinvigorate its gaming and racing industries but it isn’t happening as readily as hoped.
Now the state released an editorial with a statement that the racing industry is in need of approximately $200-million in revenue from tax payers to keep their businesses up and running. This editorial came out during a difficult time in the market. Although people are recovering, they are not yet bringing their hard-earned money to the racetracks. This is causing more and more problems for the industry. If they can get a huge amount of cash, they can continue to create bonuses to bring in more customers and hopefully turn their businesses around. In a lot of ways this editorial outlined a mini-stimulus for the industry. Just like financial institutions received economic assistance from the government, so the racing industry is asking for the same thing. WHether or not this will reasonably happen has yet to be answered. Will tax payers agree to contributing to a flailing market? Will tax payers see this as important enough a cause? Or, will they just look at racing as an out-of-date activity that should be evolved out of the market? Only time will tell what happens, but this is an issue that the state of New Jersey will definitely be debating for some time to come.

Do you love premiere gaming online? You are in luck! There are plenty of casinos online that are pushing for better and better gaming. The world of technology is moving quickly and bringing so many changes to the market that it is hard to keep up. Just look at the number of games that have been introduced in the past few months. If you take any six-month period you are going to find a wide range of games in all genres—poker, slots, video slots, blackjack and table games – introduced to the market. Most likely many of them were introduced and welcomed with open arms too. This is a sign of how popular the world of online gambling is and how lucrative gaming potentially is. One of the most popular casinos you are going to find in the online market is Ladbrokes. This is a company that has been around for a long time and knows full well how to create a great gaming experience for its customers. If you want premiere gaming at its best, visit Ladbrokes and you are not going to be disappointed.
Ladbrokes announced that it is making some changes though. This is common in a changing market. Expect more companies to continue making serious changes as they try to make their businesses as efficient as possible. The company announced that it is cutting back on the languages it offers its websites in from thirteen to nine. This should not seriously influence their revenue stream since the nine languages focused on are the most commonly used ones. Despite the sparing back on languages, the casino will continue to accept seventeen different types of currencies to their casino floor. Anyone who has wagered at the casino most likely will continue to be able to do so without issue. The casino is committing to offer top notch gaming to the following languages: Czech, Croatian, Norwegian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Romanian, Slovakian, Portuguese, Finnish, Slovenian and Russian. This is a vast list and most likely is going to serve the company well as they continue into 2011 with their gaming. Expect this and more changes to keep on happening in the market. it may take some time to sort out, but companies are trying to streamline their own businesses and make them more efficient for all parties involved.

Some states are wary about bringing online gambling into their markets. Take Washington for example—the state’s legislators have put a ban on internet gambling despite the millions of potential dollars that could come in as a result. Some experts believed that legislators throughout the US would jump on the world of gambling due to the money involved. They thought that everyone would be excited about implementing online gambling initiatives to take advantage of that revenue. Still, there are some states holding out. They see the cost of setting up online gambling and want to hold off. They believe that the money would not overcome the other costs of operating with online gambling plans. Then there are states that are rushing to take advantage of the activity. So far the UIGEA is the only US-centered gambling law, but it has not performed like it was supposed to. In the end all it did was push online gamblers from the US to switch to offshore gambling companies. This channeled millions of dollars out of the country.
There are some states in on the issue and Kansas has joined that grouping. State legislators are seeking an internet gambling development company. Their goal is to create one central controller for their four gambling websites operating within the state’s borders. Legislators are continuing their discussions over how to manage the issue and how to maximize the returns they can get from gambling. it will take time to figure out a viable plan, but that means that there should be enough time to come up with a workable and lucrative plan for the state. This would do a lot of good for the economy. Kansas like other US states suffered greatly due to the recession and is still trying to come out from under the issues it has had in the past. Now the finances are in shambles and the state needs to find new ways of bringing in millions of dollars needed for change. Whether or not gambling will prove to be the solution has yet to be seen, but legislators are willing to give it as best a shot as they possibly can.

For a while now Cyprus has been one of the preferred locations for gambling companies to set up shop. One of the problems that online gambling companies have is that they have to choose locations where the licensing fees and set-up costs aren’t too large. Take France for example…the country was recently criticized for increasing its taxation for gambling companies. It was labeled as one of the highest charging countries when it comes to hosting gambling companies. For this reason, critics are predicting that companies holding their licensing in France will soon pull out to find more financially friendly locations and new companies will pass France by as a possibility for setting up shop. Cyprus traditionally has never had this problem. The country has offered some of the most reasonable and sought-after business solutions for gaming companies. That could be changing though.
The Cyprus government is now toying with new rules. Legislators want to ban online casino gaming. This could seriously change the market if gaming companies are no longer able to operate within the country. In addition to the companies’ issues, Cyprus also would be affected. They get to take advantage of the huge tax dollars that come in from gambling. The law has already been turned over to the EC, or European Commission for review. Once they make a decision, most likely then the parliament is going to vote on the issue within 2010 still. There isn’t a lot of time for the changes, and this shows how much the market should be turned around soon. This law for a ban on online gambling is all encompassing too and would include slots, sports wagering, poker, roulette and other table games that go on. Right now there are about six-hundred different online casinos working in the country and that could seriously change their markets. They would immediately have to find new way of opening the door for gaming in other areas of the world. Of course there are some places that will welcome them with open arms, but that doesn’t mean that Cyprus will not suffer financially due to the changes.
