Microgaming Moves into Italian Market

Ladbrokes is the first MicroGaming casino to become part of the Italian poker network, but other casino operators will soon follow. Italian regulations only permit Italian players to participate in online poker rooms that cator only to Italian citizens. Players outside of Italy are restricted by Italian law from playing at any legal online poker room with Italian players. There are other regulations that must be in place for online poker rooms as well. The servers for the poker room must be hosted in Italy, and poker tournaments are the only type of games to be offered in Italian poker rooms. As of right now, only a few popular online poker brands have developed new poker rooms for the Italian market. It’s an exciting market now and gaming has grown exponentially in it. Gamers all over are trying to capitalize on its huge growth by creating new games and specials to entice users to come play at their casinos.
