Espacejeux.com is the latest casino to make headlines in the Canadian market. If you recall, Canada has been lagging behind in developing an online gambling program. The country started off a big rocky with the entire issue. It opened a casino in one of its provinces but soon had to shut it down after just a few hours of operation. It was a major guffaw for the country and its leaders. The problem didn’t stop the country as a whole though from at least investigating the market. Earlier this year, PlayNow.com moved into the country and started up a successful and lucrative company. It offers a list of games that Canadians are playing in mass numbers. The success of the gaming website is only mirrored by the success of the country’s Lottery. If you look at the numbers the lottery has brought in, it is a record high and it has been for months now. Taking this as a sign, legislators moved to increase gambling within the provinces and the move was a predominantly a positive one.
Now legislators are making moves to increase it even more. It began with PlayNow.com. This was a website that was first created to capitalize on gambling. Its success made legislators move for improvements in gaming. Now a new website is available to Canadian gamblers. This time it is Espacejeux.com. This website offers a good variety of table gaming, blackjack and roulette for gamers. Anyone in the provinces of Canada has the chance to take part in wagering and hopefully winning a good payout. The draw of winning is what is pushing more and more gamers to play is the bigger payouts. The country right now is working to revamp rules for gambling. They are by no means done with legislation. Still- Canada is getting closer to w workable law. You can expect more provinces to move into gambling as it becomes more popular and more plausible in the market. Expansion is the name of the game with gambling all over the world. Canada is in the nascent stages of finding a workable law, but most likely it is going to develop quickly and expand to all provinces.

One of the biggest growth markets right now is gambling. Whether it is online or land based, the market is something that is showing no signs of slowing down. If you look at the growth in the world of gaming, you are going to see a steadily increasing customer base. People love the fact that they can wager with varying coinage. If you have a penchant for gambling, then now is the time to get in on the fun. A new study is showing that people in Montreal are pushing for more gambling. In fact, over 85,000 people of the province spend about $10,000 annually on gambling – and that includes online and land based gaming. The huge growth market is one of those things that developers are excited to hear about. They know that that the increase in gambling and the commitment to a certain level of wagering means more money for them. In the world of gambling today things are highly competitive and companies know that if they have a steady stream of new gamers, they always have a new market to move in on.
This is a great time for the market because with a commitment of $10,000 per person in Montreal alone, that means that millions of dollars are being fueled into the economy. This is a surefire way for the country to know that it has something to build off of in coming months. Revenues coming from gambling normally are used in various countries for public works programs, education, development and not raising taxes. This is why countries are so excited about bringing in more cash for their economies. It can only mean more development possibilities in the future of what they are trying to create. This is a great time for the market due to public interest in gambling and in the fact that operators are pushing technology hard. They are bringing some of the newest and most fun games to the market right now and that is opening the door to even more patrons. Overall gambling is seeing exponential growth and that is going to be a benefit for all parties involved.

Canada has long been in the midst of gambling changes. A lot of provinces have opted out of gambling altogether, but some are taking their chances. Their legislators see gambling as a benefit and want to capitalize on the games. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation is one organization that is having huge shifts in operations. The company is pushing out its executive positions and trying to move responsibilities to senior vice presidents who can manage the jobs. The goal is to streamline their businesses and come up with ways of making the company more efficient. Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation chairman Paul Godfrey stated that the workers in gaming companies have the biggest salaries. If you do a comparison between executives at gaming companies against executives at other companies, then you are going to see the disparity. New studies are showing that gaming companies are paying out their executives a considerable amount more.
The problem with the Ontario Lottery Corporation though is that it has been under scrutiny for illegal activities in the past. The organization’s old CEO Tim Hudak was moved out of his post after allegations surfaced. He was accused of misappropriating lottery winnings and company coffers. The company has 9 vice presidents and that number is soon to be reduced to just 6 in the coming months. This is a move that should streamline the company’s operations and help to turn things around. Currently the lottery is highly lucrative and very popular with gamblers. It is one of the things that is still growing despite problems. Gamers want to have the chance to win millions of dollars at an affordable price. This is great news for gaming companies and the lottery division. They know that as long as they continue to create lotteries and attractive promotions they are going to continue to reap the benefits of the gambling dollars being brought in. If gambling is such a huge draw, then it should be able to sustain itself and grow in the market. Canada is still experimenting with the changes and is most likely going to continue to do so until the process is simple and working like a charm.

Canada has had its own share of gambling problems throughout the past few months. Washington state legislators made a stand against gambling this past month by banning it. It was thought that the voting public was warming up to the idea of legalizing gambling but the November ballot told otherwise. It seems that residents of the state voted to keep gambling out. And the vote’s tallies were not evenly divided; the state voters in much larger numbers requested that gambling not be brought into the market. They don’t want the gambling activity to be legalized or regulated, despite promises of additional tax revenue dollars and jobs. It was a startling message for legislators who believed that the voting public was coming around. Now things continue to push towards keeping gambling out of the state.
The Seattle PI published reports recently stating that its federal prosecuting body is confiscating over $550,000 in gambling related funds from a company that is based in Canada for operations. The prosecutors originally started the issue with a civil complaint that requested the company forfeit their money. It is Secure Money, Inc. that is under question and has mailed various monetary amounts to poker gamers in the state. Now, this is being cited as a direct violation of the state’s ban on casino gambling and internet gambling too. Because of this, the company is under fire for not only breaking the law, but also delineating payment. The payments are also under question because they were not handed out as direct “gambling wins”, but rather disguised under “payroll checks” to the residents. Prosecutors state that this is a clear sign that the company knew it was acting illegally and was purposefully going out of its way to hide its illegal activities. The Assistant US Attorney is involved in the issue and noted that Secure Money Inc. dispensed the funds and need to be brought up on charges now. This is a sign of how strict the state’s legislators are being on the issue of online gambling and how they are going to push for a stricter law on it in the future.

Canada is another one of those countries that is working its way through the world of online gambling. Various provinces as of late have been pushing for changes in the world of internet gambling. They are trying to work out ways that allow them to capitalize on the huge growth market. If you recall a few months ago one of the provinces moved in on gambling but had a setback. After just a few hours of operations, a security breach caused the website to have to be shut down. It seemed that hackers were able to get in on the secure website and wreak havoc on the business. This is just one of the problems that Canada has had when it comes to implementing online gambling. the country is pushing for some law, but so far things have been sketchy. There are still lotteries to rely on, but online gambling is back to the drawing board for legislators.
The question of legalizing gambling throughout the country is up for debate still. Some provinces are opting to push ahead and find some type of gambling law, while others are backing off the issue altogether. It seems odd that they are so open to the pastime. Millions of Canadians are calling for some type of legalized gambling. they are doing same thing US players did though when gambling was not open to them. They are playing at offshore companies that allow them to wager. This is something that countries need to learn—if people want to wager, they will do it. Whether that means staying in a legalized system or moving out of their country where gambling is allowed. The underlying problem though is that it causes millions of dollars to be channeled out of a country’s economy and into someone else’s. This is a difficult problem—especially now when gambling companies are offering a huge revenue stream for countries willing to write the proper legal code to implement and support it. Only time will tell if more provinces are willing to move on gambling, but until then, residents are left to seek out offshore companies for their gaming needs.

Boss Media is a huge company in the world of online gambling. It made news recently when it pulled out of Canada. In former months it was a huge player to the country, but now it is changing its tune. One of the biggest companies to enter that market was Bwin.com. This is a casino that takes sports wagers and has built its business on the market of sports betting. If you go to the casino though you can see that online they offer a wide range of additional games like blackjack, baccarat, Red Dog, Hold’em, seven, Caribbean poker, roulette (both European and American), slots (both 3 and 5-reel games) and video poker. Over the years the casino has built up a long list of games that include much more than just sports wagering. If you love to gamble, this could be the perfect casino for you. Plus you can play the full download version or the instant play version. If you don’t want to download a full program, then the instant play option fixes that issue right away!
Though Bwin.com is a huge player in the market, it is pulling out of Canada with no real reason why. The only real statement that was released claimed that Canadian regulations changed. Those changes made the casino operators decide to move out of the market altogether. Of course this doesn’t mean that the company won’t come back into the market. they had a huge following already and millions of Canadians were playing their games. There was an initial problem with gambling though…earlier this year the BC Lottery Corp began operating online but was quickly thwarted when its security certificate failed and was hacked. In fact, it happened after only a few days of operations and caused a major upset with gamblers. They were shut down but then reopened quickly. Of course now they are again out of the country. Bwin.com is up for debate because no one knows what will happen in the near future. The company could reenter the market if regulations change. And this is a viable option—legislators everywhere are still creating and testing out laws to see what works best for their gaming residents.

There are some more problems for gambling. one of the main arguments anti-gambling activists have is that they believe that gambling will inevitably bring in more crime and corruption. They state that if people are fully aware of the huge dollars available, they may be more than willing to take a chance at making some of it. Even though the activities are illegal, they could be blinded by the promise of a few “easily gotten” hundred-thousand dollars or so. Anti-gambling activists state that the price tags on illegal activities and gambling are just too big for people to ignore. There has been a rise in illegal activities. One is the latest happening in Canada. Police are looking for the proper owner of a winning lottery tickets. The tickets total up to just over CND 12 million. That is a huge payout that has yet to find its rightful owner. Police are looking and trying to sort through the lottery scandal. The owner of the store that sold the tickets tried to steal it from its owner. It is proving to be a difficult task and putting a negative spin on Canadian lottery activity.
The problem is that this isn’t the first illegal activity to be show in the Canadian market of lottery gaming. The winning ticket was won in 2003 and that is making it difficult for police to hone in on the rightful owner. Because it is so far back, it is hard to find the person. Police are calling on the public to help with any information they have. The ticket was purchased at a video store in St. Catherine’s but was validated in a different location of Burlington. The convenience store owner and his son did their job in validating the tickets, but then didn’t hand it back to the owner. They tried eventually to cash the tickets in themselves. Now police have a lot to sort through. It may take time to find the rightful owner—if he or she is ever located. Hopefully with the help of the public some one will know something and turn the right owner onto his or her winning ticket.

Canada has seen better days in terms of gambling. Right now the country is in the middle of a scandal revolving around its lottery. It seems that there was a huge conspiracy between two different store owners in Ontario. They were collecting money from customers but it seems their overall goal was to bilk millions of dollars from their victims eventually. The rise in problems for Canada is nothing new. Since the beginning of their gambling life, the country has seen scandal and problems. A few months ago they opened the first online gamgling website only to have it shut down a few hours later due to a breach of security. They immediately fixed it, but the damage was already done. Games who may have tried out the casino are staying far away until things are completely settled and things make a notable change.
Though the land-based lottery world is reeling, the online gambling market is not. In fact, they are looking to the failure of the lottery as a means of gaining new customers. They possibly can steal customers to their casinos if people are ready to give up on land based gaming in Canada. This is great news because the online market is more than ready to absorb disgruntled gamers who don’t trust the land based market anymore. Part of the issue is that this is just another incident in a long line of gaming problems. A few years ago another store owner was suspected of stealing from patrons. He ended up stealing millions from unsuspecting customers in gambling dollars. Now with this next issue, it is creating a bad name for land based Casino gambling. Without some serious PR work, the country could continue to suffer in numbers. It may take time to turn things around, but that is exactly what the market does NOT have right now. The world of gambling is competitive and companies or governments not ready to manage them in a trustworthy manner are going to forever lose the markets. And there are other companies more than willing to step in and solve the problem by taking their market shares and treating them fairly.

Canada is having problems with online gambling because more companies are banning and blocking their residents from gaming. There is a new trend where companies like Paddy Power, Casino Club and BWin are all banning Canadian residents from using their downloadable applications. The problem is that there is a strong gambling public in Canada and they are pining for good gaming companies to take on their business. Another problem is that there is no real reason for the current bans. In fact, the companies gave little explanation as to why suddenly Canadian gamers cannot wager at their casinos. Game lovers in the country received notifications via email that they were not going to be serviced any longer and would have to find other locations to wager for real money bets. It is odd that one company after another is sending notifications to Canadians and they have no real reason for the ban. The only information eluded to is that new laws in Canada are changing and making it difficult to continue offering gambling to the country. The one thing these companies have in common though is their own affiliations with Boss Media. It could be that Boss Media is the one putting forth the bans, but still no one knows truly why.
Overall Canada has been moving quickly into the online gambling market. Obviously there are quite a few people who want to wager and are ready to share their top dollars to do so. If they cannot find a market, it is going to complicate things. Plus if Boss Media continues to be close-lipped about the issue it is only going to continue breeding confusion in the market. no one knows why gambling was offered by the above companies and now suddenly it is not. Most likely there is some legal reason that Boss Media is pulling out of the market, but it leaves the Canadian gaming public in a learch. No one knows what other companies are going to step in, if any, to offer premiere gambling services online. If not, Canada will have to look for offshore companies that take their business to continue wagering.

For years now charitable organizations have been using gambling as a means of bring in funds. Almost every church and school has bi-yearly bingo games or bake sales with raffles. The purpose is to manage the budgets and come up with ways to make money stretch. A lot of the funds are needed and many of these organizations could to make their annual budgets without gambling as a part of their revenue streams. Unfortunately due to gambling changes that could be a problem in the future. Recently Edmonton made gambling illegal and that is affecting a lot of schools in the area. Archbishop Richard Smith ordered that Catholic schools stop using gambling as a way of bringing in money. There are a huge number of Catholic parishes that use gambling within the province. Many had already earmarked money from gambling for specific purchases throughout the year—computers and supplies being two of them. Without that money, school officials are at a loss as to where it is going to find funding to continue with expansion and development of education programs within the province.
Not only does this change affect schools’ yearly activities, but it also affects their ability to apply for grants. Normally schools look to grants from the Alberta Lottery fund as a means of balancing the budget. The new laws cut this possibility off too. The ban is said to take effect on October the 1st of this year and that means it will affect schools throughout the remainder of this year and next. Interestingly enough, most provinces in Canada are expanding their gambling efforts, which means that there will be more money to be had. Now that schools cannot take the money though, they are going to suffer. Unless the legislation changes schools may be left out in the cold while the gambling market grows. Gambling companies will not have any options to get the money to schools either due to the current laws. It will take time to sort out, but hopefully some changes will be made to allow education plans the procedures to go on with the funding needed. Only time will tell how long that will take.
