If you love gambling then you are going to love the various changes happening in the market of online gambling. There was a time when online gambling meant a few choice games and a couple of dollar’s worth of payout—those days are long gone. If you love sports betting, you can find a long list of online casinos that are going to take your wagers and continue to push for more changes in the market. They are no longer just one-wager websites available—in today’s market you can wager on a long list of things in the world of sports. For example, if you love football you recently were entertained by a showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. The two teams have had a long standing rivalry and their fans have squared off against each other to play along. If you love sports wagering and football, then you are going to love how it is translating into the gambling world when it comes to online casinos.
Overall the fight between the two teams began way back in the 70s, with the Steelers leading in all-time series by forty-seven games to thirty. They were one of the favorites among bookmakers in the market and managed to win out. If you go to the Victor Chandler sports betting website you can take advantage of their online gambling possibilities. Not only is this one of the top online betting websites, but it also provides punters with the chance to study stats. You won’t be left in the dark about stats here—there are a ton of them to enjoy and work with. You can look up the teams’ history of wins and defeats, their former spreads and their projected performance in the future. It is a great website for anyone looking to maximize their gaming and find out how to research a team before they start wagering big dollars on them. Regarding the showdown between Pittsburg and Cincinnati, there are websites that are pushing for the showdown. Victor Chandler gives Pittsburgh the win and so does Unibet, Stan James and Extra Bet. With support like this, it could be that the Steelers’ fans are going to be left out in the cold once again.

One of the biggest trends in the market is to move to mobile gaming. With the rise in smart phones, it is evident that people no longer just use their cell phones for communication. Now people use them for a wider variety of options than just talking. First it was texting. Texting is a great way to get one or two words out there quickly. Anyone wanting to get a message out without taking the time to make a phone call can use texting easily. Once texting took off, then people started wanting more options on their cell phones. Development companies answered. Smart phones are cell phones, but with much more diversity. Smart phones can browse full webpages, send email, receive email, make payments….anything you can do online with your desktop or laptop is now possible to do on a smart phone.
American Wagering, Inc. is a company that holds a great market share of the sports betting industry. Now the company announced that it is moving into the world of mobile betting with a special app developed just for Blackberries. Blackberries of course are top of the line smart phones, that probably defined the new cell phone market most before iPhones came into the picture. This new application is going to allow gamblers to place their wagers just like they would at their computers. The only catch is that right now the app is solely for people in Nevada. This is a good sign though- if it is available for Nevada due to legalities, that should change soon. When it does the app can be expanded easily to include every state that allows sports betting. The company is promising that this move is going to make gaming that much more exciting. Now players can wager on the go and check scores from their phones in one convenient location. The company also announced that though the application right now is compatible with the Blackberry, it is only a matter of months before they release applications for other platforms like the entire Apple suite of iProducts that are growing so popular in the market today.

If you are looking for a new casino game, why not try baccarat. It is one of the quickest growing casino games around and for good reason. One of the biggest advantages is that the game is one of the easiest to learn. It is a card game and most online casinos offer it, or are in the midst of bringing it into their roster of games. The game of baccarat offers three different types of wagers. This is a good advantage because players have the opportunity to choose the right sequence with more chances to come out with a win. The bets are:
• The Banker bet
• The Player bet
• The Tie bet
Don’t be fooled by the names—just because it’s called a “banker bet” doesn’t mean it is banker specific. The most popular bet is the banker bet though because it gives the house edge to 1%. If you use this bet, then you are going to have a much better opportunity to walk away with a win. There is one caveat though. Look at this example: If a player places a $100 on the banker bet and then wins, he or she will get a win of $195 rather than $200. This is due to a 5% factor built into the equation. Despite that 5% loss, this is still the strongest wager to use in baccarat. There also is the player bet. This bet doesn’t have a factor built in, so you are going to take the full win if you get lucky. The player bet has a higher house edge then the edge of the first bet. It is normally around 1.25%. Finally there is the tie bet. This is not a good get at all and leaves the house at an edge of 5%. The chances of winning with this bet are drastically lower for the player, but if he does win, the payout is high. For example, this wager pays out 9-to-1 and that means if the player wagers $50, then they walk away with $450 in a total win. This is why though the edge is considerably higher for the house, it still is worth looking at.

One of the biggest markets in Europe is the sports gambling industry. Billions of dollars are traded on any given sporting event in the area. Namely soccer is big business and the rules are relatively lax as compared to other areas of the world. In Europe players are at liberty to bet on soccer as long as their wagers are not on their own team. This is a critical change to what comes in the US. In the states, players cannot deal the same way with teams and namely the NFL. Gambling may soon change in Europe though because of the climate of other areas of the world. Throughout the world there have been some problems- owners and league managers have had to deal with sports betting scandals. There have been major “fixes” on matches in Europe and Asia. In an effort to avoid all of these problems European officials want to make changes.
Representatives from the country’s Football League, League managers, union-members and Premiere League are all in discussions on changing rules. They are contemplating a ban on players. There are two differing sides though. Premier League members believe that the league is not as susceptible to problems due to the heightened awareness their team has on a global scale. They believe that popularity is what can save them from any further problems. In Europe sports wagering is big business and soccer leagues are trying to find solutions to protect the sport but also maximize profits. If changes occur there it may mean changes for the US market when it comes to sport betting. The NFL is against sports betting due to not receiving any of the profits of the move. The teams and owners know how many billions of dollars are traded as a result of their hard work and play. They want to make a way to reap some benefit without limiting the market. Most of their problem really is not getting a piece of the lucrative sports betting pie. For a while now the US has been looking to other countries and their rules regarding sports betting. They are willing to look at other options, but need a viable alternative for managing the problem.

Betfair is a company that is a leader in the world of online gambling. the company just announced that it is planning on expanding considerably in the market. It just released information on moving into the market of trade. The online betting world is a part of gambling but moving to the stock exchange has not been common in the world of gaming. So far gambling companies have steered clear of trading, until now. Betfair is now looking to move into the global market of online betting. This new platform is allowing the company a great shot at taking over the market.
If you are an online gambler, then you probably know how lucrative the market is. A decade ago it was not as popular and the games you’d find were limited. Now things have drastically changed and you can find almost any land-based game at an online casino. That includes betting and sports betting. These are highly popular in the online world and Betfair is a leader. The company comes to the market offering a huge selection of betting possibilities. If you watch any sports game, then you know part of the fun is to wager on the outcome, the spread, player’s success rates at points, and almost any other combination of wagers. You should have a lot of fun with wagering. If you are a fan of sports betting, then no doubt you have heard of Betfair and possibly you have even wagered there over the years. Now this new Betfair plan is to trading. Most likely the company will find success due to its former success at sports betting in other areas of the market. Over the years the company has come up with a great business model and offers some of the best gaming and sports betting you are going to find online. If you wager, then you can find any game you want to at the website. Now that it is moving into trading, it is going to most likely find a lot more success as a gaming company. That means you will be able to find even more fun wagering possibilities at the website.

The slot machine have done it again! Another lucky slots player managed to walk away with a huge win on the “Alice’s Wonderland” progressive slots game. Progressive games are those games that have the huge payouts. The reason is because they are built to network a number of games together. This could be a network that spans throughout a casino, or it could be a network that spans throughout a certain geographic area. You can imagine if the network is larger and spans over a network of casinos in different states, then it is going to be a bigger payout than a smaller networked one. Every time any gamer puts in a wager, part of it goes directly to the pot– this is why your ticker on the screen or on the machine is moving up so quickly. For example, if 2,000 people over a large network are wagering on average $50 per hour, and the casino is putting 10% to the jackpot, then that means that the jackpot is growing at $10,000 per hour. Imagine that jackpot growing steadily for fifteen hours– that brings the jackpot up to $150,000. This is how the jackpots for progressives grow so quickly. All you have to do is a quick Google search and you are going to find hundreds of progressive games going on every day.
With the “Alice’s Wonderland” win recently, the player going by the name “Vassillis T” logged in to play at Bet365.com. She ended up getting to the bonus round and eventually ended up getting the £107,808 payout! That is no small change. The best thing about Bet365.com’s online casino is that it is consistently scheduling progressives for people to enjoy and you can easily get in on them time and again. All you have to do is open an account and deposit “real” money into it. Then, all you have to do is play to your heart’s content. With the casino’s selection of over thirty slots, you aren’t going to be bored with the games anytime soon. Plus, the casino adds enough specials to keep you coming back. Check out Bet365.com’s online casino and you won’t be disappointed. You just may walk away with a win like “Vassillis T.”

Are you a fan of “The Bachelor” TV show? If not, it may seem odd that the final cast is making its way into the world of gambling. The truth though is that wagers on the outcome of reality shows have become more and more popular throughout the past few years. It is no longer sporting events that solely see fans’ bets. Nowadays gaming companies are seeing more and more pop culture wagers coming into the market. They are taking bets and making them more lucrative for the players.
With The Bachelor bets were taken on who would walk away with the star, Jake Pavelka as he sought after his “wife” throughout the 8-week long show. A wide range of women were involved in the competition and Pavelka was sent on a series of dates with each one to find his “one and only true love.” He quickly sorted through the ladies to come up with the final two vying for his attention. This is where bets began. Betting companies all over began taking wagers on the final choice he would make at the season finale of the show. He took his time in choosing and editors of the show were careful to not give anything away throughout taping. As a popular TV show the competition took a huge number of wagers on who the winning woman would be. In the end, Pavelka chose Vienna Girardi as his lady love. And they lived happily ever after from that day on– never leaving eachother’s loving arms…or did they?
Reality TV is not reality, as it has proven time and time again. Pavelka and Girardi recently split up as a couple and have little to say to each other. Though that may be bad news for the formerly betrothed couple, it is good news for those who placed wagers that the relationship would not last until marriage. Expect more and more wagers based on reality TV and pop culture to be entering the market. This is big business for the market and no one wants to pass up a chance to wager on their favorite show.
