Grudzien Resigns from StoxPoker.com

Nick ‘StoxTrader’ Grudzien is in a bit of trouble. It seems that earlier this year he was found to be using multiple accounts on FullTiltPoker.com and PokerStars.com. He also was accused of conspiring against the founders of StoxPoker.com at an online poker forum called TwoPlusTwo.com. Both are looked down upon in the market for a notable player and as a result Grudzien is now resigning from the online poker training website StoxPoker.com.

Throughout the controversy, Grudzien has consistently denied any wrongdoing. Though he did acknowledge his duplicate accounts at the two casino websites, he did state that he saw nothing wrong with the multiple gaming issue. Despite the problems, most likely Grudzien will rise out the wave of bad press and continue in on the market as a leader. The fact remains that he is an outstanding player who most likely will ride out the wave of problems he is having right now. Hopefully he will learn though to be more vigilant about his poker dealings.

This is one of the problems that a lot of opponents of online gambling talk about. They believe that legalizing online gambling will inevitably increase the amount of illegal or questionable activities in the market. They are citing a growth in crime, corruption and the temptation to act unethically as major reasons why online gambling should not be allowed. They believe that bringing it into various markets will create more and more problems that need to be regulated. And, without the proper safeguards in place to handle them, it may means sure disaster for many communities. For example, if gaming is legalized, it may create a growth in the number of online gambling addicts. Gamblers Anonymous locations are already stretched and they don’t have the financial resources needed to expand into more markets or to build more centers. This could create potential problems if a growing number of addicts enter the market and are unable to find the help they need to overcome the addictions. They may lose their financial footing, go into foreclosure, lose family and friends, etc. That will create even more problems for the market to shore up. Although Grudzien is allegedly contributing to the problem of unethical activity online, he most likely will learn his lesson and change his ways. If he is to stay in the market he loves, he will have to alter his ways of managing.
